Very beautiful route and well covered by you too. Unfortunately this train and the route has a very sad past of being swallowed by the sea during the Tsunami and the entire route was re constructed. Not only Sri Lanka..... many African countries also run trains with ICF manufactured coaches.....of course with their specifications. The saddest part in Indian railways is that we needed a Vande Bharat to be introduced now to experience these kind of coaches.....while they have always been manufactured by India for other countries. Luckily we atleast had a Shatabdhi since quite some time to experience premium train travel. Those rotating fans that you showed were a regular feature in all long distance trains in the 80s and changed to stationary fans in the 90s. Did you notice the civic sense and discipline followed by the people of Sri lanka in maintaining public property and their country so clean and beautiful. Rail bus travel??

He tried but I am disappointed by his log not enough to cover and he told this beautiful wonderful stretch ella to nanoya is not that much better than Ooty train… I agreed, but here the srilanka is 75 cleaner than india , moreover they never cut trees , the route I traveled more than once to feel the wonderful scenic route, the carriage of Ella odessy is far better than Ooty toy train, when I went first time it’s rs 650 in srilanka rupees 2nd class in 2022 March then Nov 2022 it was 900 rupees fort to ella, like that the food and all things are sky rocketed from March price to November price, now due to gst like tax now price are more I try to reach his inbox on 2022 to tell abt the train routes in srilanka, he never see my message due to lot of messages to him by subscribers, I am subscriber of both I am subscriber of transit bites and I send off him to srilanka in ferry from Nagaipattinam
