Right, the phone has 8GB of physical ram and you can expand it with another 8gb of virtual ram, which is a portion of the phone's 256gb storage that's being used. This gives you 16gb ram total. However, the virtual ram is slower than physical ram but it helps to improve the overall performance of the phone it its running low on ram (whatever is being kept in physical ram and not being used, is being moved to virtual ram, if it makes sense). This is useful if you tend to run many apps at the same time or if you play games that require lot of ram. Also, the larger size of virtual ram, the slower it would be -as the operating system has to spend more time managing the big amount of virtual ram. hope it helps.

Hi. Not sure why the ads are popping up on your phone, but most probably its caused by some app installed (you may check the list of installed apps and remove the one you don't recognise or don't remember installing). I had same issue on my son's tablet, he installed some apps, bloatware ones, so I had to remove it. Eventually, you may check the privacy settings (Go to your phone's settings and open the "Privacy" or "Security" menu. Look for an option to disable pop-up ads. If you find one, enable it).

Hey, nice deal on the phone! $109 is a steal! BTW. Just a heads up - don't get it too wet! It's more 'dustproof' than 'waterproof', so I was crossing my fingers while filming that it wouldn't die on me. Haha! Enjoy your new phone - and thanks for the comment!

I returned it after a few days. It's a piece of garbage. The cpu is slower than my 5 year old Moto Z3. It takes 20 minutes to load a 5 min 4K file into Capcut, which is almost instantaneous on my Pixel 6A.

In the camera app, you had to press '50MP' and it would magically turn from 12 to 50.

I just received mine today. BatterY was at 70% when I started set up and drained to 33% in less than 1 hour! I used my previous phone as template for set up, but only parts of the backup was restored. Not impressed.
