I should've watched this before playing Evertale. I completed the game in a week with SR and R characters and with the storyline characters. I completed the main storyline, a few chapters in Act 1 Online mode. Time to redo.

Awesome, good luck at the start! For some the alternative is trying to get one copy of an SSR to carry, but it's a bit risky. Try to see it as a challenge to get through without one 💪 consistently getting Lucky Fountain as soon as possible makes the game much more enjoyable (and your account more competitive)

I pulled my first SSR, Kisara, at 53k, at 2.5 months into the game, then I pulled Bride Astrid at 82k with a lucky fountain at 4 months into the game. Now I never went below 77k unless I am trying to get my 5th copy.

I'm new to this game, So idk if this is a dumb question. But why do you maintain above 77k at all times. Wouldn't 30k suffice for the lucky fountain.

@@justanotherperson7798If you're unlucky, you'll need a minimum of 50k soul stone to guarantee getting an SSR character, not pulling till you're at 77k guarantees you get the character and also still have enough for your next luck fountain.

I wanna ask 1 thing, in the daily missions, What we need to do at Explore 3 Times Mission? Explore what exactly? Story mode? Or towers of trials or fluorite mines?, cuz when i played that mode, the quest didn't finish, or doesn't count.. Like still 0/3 🤔😅

Does it matter to fully awake hero first before lvl up to level 200? Cause i searched for this question and most people tell that the order doesn't matter and you have the same power points at the end, but still some people in the game telling me that it would be better to FW first before leveling up to max. What is your opinion?

It doesn't matter in terms of final power, but one reason to delay it would be if you're not sure if you'll end up fully awakening that unit after all.

Can I actually get through act 1 or further without any SSR character? What would be the recommended unit go be in the team? Kinda want to not spend any Soulstone in the beginning of the game and focusing on reaching 30K and more, or should I went for the events instead of the acts?

Yeah, it should be possible to get through offline story without SSRs but can be tough sometimes. In Online Story you can make use of powerful mercenaries to advance further. Same is true for events which you definitely shouldn't skip 👍

Awesome video thanks! I have one question. At 9:20 you said “The fruit cost per potential gained is much higher before you hit ranked 200.” Does this mean that after rank 200 your fruit of potential gives a lower increase to the potential? Dang I never heard that. Could you clarify for me?

After Rank 200 you'll get the maximum increase of potential per fruit 👍

Im playing for few weeks and SSRs i got are: Ruler of the round table king Arthur, angel of the sleepless city endless Rizette, flame-catching streamer Honnoji, goddess of love and war Freya, fox-eared idol Mysha, crimson valyrie Ludmilla, 2x hero of the west Astrid and organica war machine mk Orzachron, are any of them good? (except of King Arthur, thats really good one, i already know about it...)

Yeah, KA is your best unit, focus everything on her for now. Your second best in combination to King Arthur would be your Dark Rizette.

Tip to actually start as a beginner with an SSR Join a Random Server and Finish the Chapter One of the offline story, use the Beginners Fountain and you'll have like 1000 SS Then try pulling for your SSR Waifu If it doesnt work then start on another server and repeat (Takes around 12-15 Minutes)

In general, no. But you can cross check each character that pops up with my latest tier list linked in the description. If the SSR is not in B Tier or higher, you should definitely skip it.

Im struggling in act 1. That red pillar battle is just somehow rng’ing me every match. Tried 10x and still losing. Tried lvling up my weapons and characters but haven’t spent soul stones

@@Trucriot In the first dungeon looking place, I have to defeat the sentinel stones and find the exit. Theres a red stone that spawns 2 wolves and a big dude with an axe. They always have first move and the wolf will always crit one of my members to 5% hp. Basically in the first turn, Im already down to my reinforcement. I have leveled up as much as I can using xp and evolved my dragon looking thing I get at the beginning. But even when things are going great at the beginning when I manage to kill both wolves because I have 2 members with ALL attacks, the axe guy then starts hitting 2 members and deals massive damage. Sometimes he hits 1 and its always 1200+ damage. Im just a beginner, holy crap. Even if I get him low, he has a heal ability that heals him 2k-4k hp essentially starting the fight over and he just womps on me

Great question! In general, you have to wait for them, they appear every few months. Additionally, there are the beginner banners and the paid banners.

You need limit breaks, it usually evolves at certain level thresholds. But while Shockling is a very decent char to use at the beginning, you might wanna save the resources for a strong SSR

Sth that's confusing to me is that small weapon icon inside the character portrait. Idk if it shows the recommended weapon from the weapons I have or if it's their signature weapon? I used to think it was the equipped weapon but that's not the case either? And the weapon shown there is different from their like weapon type too?? It's so confusing I have my ssr weapons just lying about unused cuz of this :/

Hey! Not sure which screen, but they should display the preferred weapon of the character (weapons where they can unlock the weapon effect in battle). Fully awakened characters have two preferred weapon types.

@@Trucriot Its the small icon / window in the character power up screen. The icons on the top of the character card, those red/yellow ones, those are pretty clear. I don't have an issue with those. But when you go to level up a character there's a small image of a weapon inside the character card. That's what I don't get

mmh looks like the game encourages an unfun strategy. Most gacha games try to get you hooked with early summons. Here, the best strategy is to save to 30k before summoning? wow thats boring for a new player. But wasting resources is worse.

Agreed that it's a bit counter-intuitive. However, because Evertale gives you lots of soul stones during the phase when you're starting out, you can get to 30k pretty fast (just need to be aware of that guidance early on). And in the meantime, it's a fun challenge to clear the PvE content without an OP character on your team :)

I want to be sure... does it really matter to have the 2nd copy of the same unit? Like, it gets the awaken bonus for leveling up, right? So the unit that have 1.88x awk bonus is stronger than the unit with no bonus?

To get 1.88 bonus, you need 4 additional copies, but in general yes! For a strong DPS unit to truly become a menace, it needs to be awakened multiple times.
