This only deals with rust you can see and get to. I guarantee there's rust eating away at that metal from above and inside all the nooks and crannies.

Removing rust without protecting the metal afterwards is pointless. It just looks nice for a short time but you haven’t fixed or slowed down anything.

I can't even remember the last time I've seen a D21 Pathfinder and I live in California where all the cool old cars from the 70s, 80s, 90s still run around like new. I've seen more Ford Aerostars and Chevy Astros than I've seen hard body nissans trucks.

I have a 2013 LR4 with the V8. I live in the north east so lots of snow and salt. if I had the $ and could get this done, is there an additional coating that can be put on the undercarriage to help fight the rust? or like how beneficial is the laser rust removal in helping a car live as long as possible? cuz I love this car. and I know more than likely the engine will go and that will require a replacement but just curious in your experience how valuable it is to do this sooner rather than later when it comes to making sure the vehicle can stay in top condition.
