L L True, any Japanese 600 will be cheaper and have more parts. The Triumph is more premium.

Excellent looking, sounding, handling bike! The downfall for me was the seat and ergonomics, it's a bit harsh on the street, I could see it being a great race bike but the comfort isn't there for me. The seat is super stiff and aggressive riding position, I'm probably just spoiled on my 750 lol great review man!

SALTxTHExWOUND Thanks man! Yeah it is aggressive but it handles and sounds amazing! We do get spoiled by the ergonomics of the GSXRs.

I have a 2007 675. I live in NC and went to T.O.T.D. this summer. Put 9k on it between spring and summer. My seat is aftermarket so it's comfy. But I rode 400 miles that day @ The Dragon and wanted more. I am 45 years young. I have ridden many bikes but I prefer the aggressive ergo. Sorry guys don't like GSXR they are set up for soy boy's who need comfy. (Just kidding) Be safe out there fellas

I bought a 2012 675r back in November. For those of you who are somewhat mechanically inclined, I recommend buying a track bike and converting it back to street. I ended up buying mine for $4,700 with a ton of track goodies and only 4k miles. The past owner put in almost 10k worth of part and the aftermarket fairings, wiring harness, lights, ran me about 1k. You can get a good deal on them if you're not scared to take the bike apart.

@@itsmeericb it's a good way to upgrade without going broke lol. The only thing to keep in mind is that track bikes are ran hard and generally aren't babied. Most guys that are in the sport do a good job with maintenance though.

I’ve got one, it’s a 2013 model and has 15k miles on it... unfortunately my mirror wobbles now, my advise is to not play with the mirrors a lot as there is no way to fix it once it becomes lose.

Mine is too, the right side, was like that when I bought it, 5,000 miles, have taken them off And looked for an adjustment bolt or nut of some sort but to no avail, I guess it's just the pivot bushing or what have you....

I almost bought that as a first bike 5 years ago, ended up getting a 2011 zx6r. This thing, late model gixxers, and the zx6r are good bikes if you're hell bent on starting on a 600. They have slipper clutches, gear indicators, power modes and ABS in certain configurations.

Love my 2010 675. Perfect size bike for me. Deceptively nimble and will quickly bite you in the ass if you are not on top of it.

Triumph Daytona, always seem to be late to styling trends and copying the Japanese manufacturers' designs that are already old (much like Ducati). But hey, more sportbikes out in the market is always a good thing.... and these triple setups are pretty unique in itself.

I believe this will be the one I pursue. I was contemplating the R6 or CBR650R. Have you ridden either of those? And how do the compare to this bike?

Keith Dickerson unfortunately I have yet to ride an R6. Inbred to start doing some 600 first ride videos. The R6 is a favorite among 600 riders along with the GSXR 600 and CBR 600. Can’t really go wrong with either, but that Triumph is 🔥.
