My only complaint is I wish they had drawn Bruce with more hair this issue. I feel it's inconsistent how in some issues he has a lot and in others he doesn't. In story I wonder if Zur cut his hair while he was asleep.

It’s interesting that Bruce Wayne Batman was able to defeat Zur Failsafe before he asked the Joker how he is a part of this. For the Failsafe backup, it’s interesting that all the Zurs from the multiverse were transferred to Failsafe and that they have different opinions on what to do with Bruce and their purpose.

Just watch you think things are bad now in about 10 years the market is going to be flooded with Batman stories from literally anyone we could get some absolute gems but I don't know don't have my hopes up

What are you talking about. It doesn't take much to realize all the writers are doing is exploring who Bruce is NOT JUSt Batman is as an actual character and helping decide where he goes in the future and how he develops. Like we are going down a whole in story check of things fans are always talking about when it comes to the character.

This story is all so bizarre. It took me so long to fully understand what Batman Zur en Ar even is. And now I think it will take me equally as long to find out why he is evil now.

He's not. Just think of Zur as a Batman Without Bruce's Kindness. He's all about the Mission, Would Break Jokers bone so he could never commit crime again but wouldn't kill em. Would use fear Toxin on Jason so he would stop being a vigilante and risk him killing people or putting himself in danger ever again even trying to force on Jason a safe life and a new civilian identity. Like a controlling parent. He would even through Nightwing, Tim and Damian to the cops so their identity can be exposed so he could operate as Batman full time. Who doesn't care even if crime is down 90 percent due to Catwoman because she is training henchmen to redirect them into being more independent away from violent crime because it compromises the mission. And will run them hands with the entire Bat Family to prove it. That's who Zur en Ar is. A split personality of Bruce that gives 0 about anything else but being Batman

Batman met another Batman from another planet in one of the VERY old Batman stories, but later on the writers decided there wasn't a Batman from another planet. So they gave him a new origin story being a split personality of Bruce. That's why the name and suit are weird, he's from a completely different and more silly era

This is why I hate when comic companies ignore the fact they're in a connected universe...Batman is smart enough to realize when a threat is beyond him, especially if he made it to take him out. Call superman...doesn't even need a phone..Robot Batman gets his bolts stomped in by superman going all out on it. Superman then thanks Bruce for the stressball

Well he did do that and failsafe used kryptonite blades almost killing him and when it came to round two he was able to manipulate Clark's pressure points rendering him immobile but decided to not kill him

@@chrisbutler9594you can probably argue that it's made to replace bruce after taking him out so it'd make sense to have it be equipped to deal with threats, including kryptonian ones. Not to mention that there's a non-zero chance that there exists a possibility where an actual rouge batman is supported by a rouge superman

The entire premise of this story is weird and makes no sense when thinking about the Batman v Justice League ending. JL being pissed at Bats for having contingency plans for all of them, they asked Batman, "whats your failsafe??" Bruce looked and said "You are" which was one of my favorite lines in comics ever. So having this new failsafe thing doesnt sit right with me as it undermines that entire scene

Not going to lie… I love this new Batman run! I fell off the series because of the fake out wedding and Bruce returning to his classic outfit out of nowhere which never set well with me. I love the writer of this run and have seen a lot of his work turn out pretty good. Can’t wait to see where this crazy train goes next!

I just honestly don't think I could ever like this story. I liked what they introduced with the alter ego at first . Cuz I thought that's a kind of cool idea that we made every now and then see but I hate how the story is going. This is literally one of those stories where I feel it's one of those stories you like if you like the alter ego character and fail safe. For one I always disliked failsafe I thought it was dumb it's Batman made a fucking robot to take himself out but then not only that. It's a robot that can take on the whole Justice League. Which is done because you just made basically a smart indestructible Amazo. Which is so dumb cuz I've always liked the idea in the comics even remind us of this when we learn about the Batman who laughs Batman's protocol if he ever goes bad is either Superman the Justice League or the thing I like the sidekicks

I'm not interested in the clean up details the "IDEA" of Zur as this fresh new exciting story is gone, spoiled by bad writers with weak storys, honestly clean up in comics is never complete until something so great that the collective comic community agrees that happened or it's so bad it's forgotten or worse it becomes apart of the charchers personality my favorite example is Dick Grayson has commitment issues on account of just how much writers KEEP FORGETTING the amount of times SUPERMAN has Given him the "ITS TIME TO STEP UP SPEECH" Which just translates to ooOOOoo "indecisive NightWing uwu am I a good leader "uwu" someone else lead the the titans "uwu" I'm going back to the bat cave and ask the family bike we call Barbra to marry me again because of batcest, let's forget about that time I kept getting domed I'm the head
