SUPER SPACE SAVER! I needed to organize and store the few clamps I have. Because I have a small workshop I did not want to sacrifice the wall space required for a conventional clamp rack.
A little out-of-the-box thinking and this is what I came up with.

That my friend is a cheeky little build, that solves an often overlooked need, without hanging them all over the shop, nice one fella ! .... Hope you are over the hill on your recovery ? ... love from Yorkshire England !

I dig this! Great organization build. I was thinking you might need a hole (handle sized) cutout handle on each or just on wing. That way you're not grabbing from the top and the build falling over if you hit a crack in the ground when moving it. Or just adding a "C" handle to the edge of a wing.

nice project, the turn table ability is a really good idea especially when little bits of wood can cause the wheels to bind and so topple over when trying to turn it. if you want more stability you have the perfect place under the device between the wheels. just add some weight there, couple of old bar weights would be perfect to lower the centre of mass.

Always love the solutions you come up with for issues. I have a small garage in which i do my woodworking, and it's also for our cars. Your ideas for mobile solutions are great and i've adapted some to use so my tools are always out of the way unless i need them.

Crikey! Brilliant! I can see building three...because I'm somewhat of a clamp hoarder, and because I can see the usefulness of having clamps right at hand during large or repetitive glueups. F-clamps and squeeze clamps on one...pipe clamps and extra pipe on another...leftovers (😂) on the third. All in a compact and mobile form factor. Love it! Another thing...as a Yank I enjoy seeing tool brands that we don't see here. Never seen or heard of the cordless tool brand of the drill and saw. AEG is sold in the US under the Ridgid brand name.

Great idea, I'm also stretched for space so might have to make myself something similar. I do think you need a custom knob on the top, maybe a shape of your logo or the like.

This is a great idea. The only thing would add is a lip or stop block for loose fitting clamps such as the "C" clamps to prevent possible fall out while moving.

At first I thought the rotating rotator was a bit much, and it was too tall, but by the time you finished it and filled it, it was obviously a fine clamp solution for small space. I love to see each new video from you; I agree with @Chsbobcat1, thanks for everything and the way you share the reasoning behind each decision.

When you mentioned the "Lazy Susan" idea, I too, thought redundant. But, with a few seconds of contemplation, I understood the benefit. The wheels are for moving the rack around the shop but the carousel allows you to turn only the center, without the whole thing giggling all over. Also, the carousel is Made to spin smoothly, in a circle, but the four wheel arrangement is not. It"s very clumsy. 😁✌🖖

I'd love to see what you can come up with for that portable compressor in the corner. Maybe mounting it on the ceiling or way up out of the way? It doesn't really need to be taking up floor space, and the only thing that needs to be mobile is the tubing.

If you were to place a cut out hand hole exactly where you place your second hand, that might make it easier to manouver ? Maybe ? Just throwing ideas out. I'm a very novice wood worker and absolutely love your ingenuity, and content.

Those clamps do present challenges as you grow the collection, based on need. I used an old 2 wheeled hand trolley and welded frames to hold small clamps and pipes near the middle for taller heavy clamps. Now I just move it where I need it and it has a very small footprint. I do have a large pvc pipe as storage for my 8’ pipe clamps as they are too tall and heavy, the pipe is hung off the rafters so it’s out of the way. I like seeing how others solve 5his as I may adapt ideas to what I have. I do get a lot from your videos, thanks for sharing.

Great project, love the built. Starting at 13:16 and for the next 1min, it is obvious where you are putting your second hand on the rack, and I bet you could benefit from a handle at that position. A finger hole or simple groove would prob be sufficient. Anyways, great storing solution!

A very interesting way to store clamps. I think that you have a lot more space on that cart but then it might risk getting too cluttered. Still, it is a way to bring the clamps closer to your work, however, in a small shop, I have a French cleat system and it's not a problem. And yes, I did think the turntable was redundant but now that you built it, I changed my mind. I'll keep this solution in mind in case I find a use for it. Thanks a bunch! Cheers!

Hey, how many clamps do you have in your workshop that you DON'T own? Are you a serial tool-borrower?!! :-) Seriously though, I almost clicked off the video because I've seen dozens of them and have not been pleased by any of the designs until this one. By far the most efficient use of space in a clamp rack I've seen. Will be building something similar. Thanks!
