7 жыл бұрынEight years after BOJAR's launch, skilful sailor and yacht designer Johan Anker drew the lines for the Dragon One Design. Johan Anker was considered an artist in yacht design - greatly concerned with the beauty of lines and BOJAR doesn’t disappoint. Indeed as a boat of such breathtaking and effortless beauty, a classic gem; she genuinely lifts the human spirit and perhaps even defines the term “classic yacht.” With her keel weight and displacement balanced at approximately 50 / 50 she is an extremely effective sailing boat. Perhaps no surprise then she was the winner of a 'Je ne sais quois’ at the 2012 Panerai Regatta at Cowes; third in class in the Round the Island race and more recently impressive results at the RYS Bicentenary Regatta.

This fair lady is now at the top of my list,the way she moves through the water almost effortlessly and a perfect silhouette under sail.takes your breath away.May She sail for another 100 yrs.

I watched this about 6 times before I mustered any reaction to do a "like", or post a comment. I suppose one could react in so meany beautiful, substantive words to relay a feeling of awe, but words are definitely not necessary here, in fact, they would distract more than convey. I think I will watch it again now.

So beautiful. I once owned a 5.5 meter with very similar lines. But mine was built as a racer. She could beat so close to the wind and make good headway. I love your boat.

Wow! It is only a meter longer than our Andromeda from 64 and even has 50cm less beam, still it is really roomy inside! Very impressive and a stunning boat!

My wife an I have been the lucky ones to own Bojar for 31 years. She gave us some fantastic sailing and possibility to be part of great wooden boat social network.

You should consider doing sea-themed ASMR videos. Did you take the yacht across the Atlantic to the Caribbean or just around the UK? Also, is the sitting area bit downstairs original or fitted later? thanks.

I owned #28 Anker built Dragon for 12 years. I would loved to have the money to step up to this beautiful yacht. Nothing beats a Johan Anker design. Thx.

Absolutely gorgious for weekend sailing but cruising ? No way !! Just a v-birth for a 50 footer ? I'm a romantic but I can see what that teak means. Its old enough that it must be screwed down. Endless maintenance ....outside of a boat house.

glassy-eyed-third-mate asks: does anyone have copies of her construction plan (profile and plan view)? I was trained in traditional drafting over 45 years ago and have done some profiles and construction profiles in ink. These of course, are labour-intensive, yet nevertheless, also a labour of love. I literally 'loose myself' in the drawing / drafting process. A framed original as such over a sitting room fireplace, den or house library, will usually stop most people in their tracks. Am still working full-time as a navigation officer in the merchant marine, so I have little time to carry-on with this past-time! Hopefully retirement in 2-3 years will allow me more time to pursue this endeavour..., in the meanwhile, if any viewers / readers of such, can help with a copy of plans, this would be most appreciated.
