We are such animal lovers in my home and it's so nice to see how calm you are with your little furbabies. We have 3 furbabies and I'm constantly cleaning up after them but I wouldn't change it for anything. Oh and I have a set of twins so I'm constantly busy with them. Life of a SAHM. Thank you for the motivation!

I am loving the idea of the trees in the center windows. I am excited to see what you decide. Have you considered doing a slim lighted tree in your bedroom corner that you love so much? Clear lights would be calming and relaxing and go with your winter wonderland vibe lol. ❤️

Christmas tree by the window....for sure! I always loved driving around and seeing all the beautiful Christmas Tree's in the windows. ♥♥♥ I would move the couch down towards the kitchen and put the floor lamp in the opposite corner (by front window). That would make it more symmetrical. Oh! One more thing....the outside lights look fantastic!!!

I put my tree in my front window every year but I have to have it in the center of the window. If you don’t I know it will drive you crazy. Lol. I also will have the white bulb candles in every window. I also will have a tree in my den that faces the windows in the back. I haven’t gotten the first gift yet. I’m so behind. I wanted to share 2 easy recipes for sides that we do at my house a lot. I get the fresh green beans in the clear bag at Harris Teeter, put them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and dried mince garlic. Heat them in the microwave per the bag's instructions. So good and fresh tasting. Another thing I love to make is ranch slaw. I make my own ranch dressing because I am allergic to eggs which are in most salad dressings. So I mix 1 part canola oil, 1 part heavy cream, and 1 part sour cream in a mason jar with about 3-4 tablespoons of Hidden Valley ranch seasoning (I buy it in the big container at Sam's). Whisk that together and you can always adjust ingredients for your desired consistency. I keep this in the fridge all the time, great for sauces, marinades, salad, dips, fry sauce (just add ketchup), and of course slaw. I buy the minced bag of southern slaw with the carrots in it; for half a bag I probably do 4-5 heaping spoonfuls of the ranch, then I drizzle a little oil in it, and a few shakes of nature's seasoning. It is so good with pork chops, bbq anything, hamburgers (I eat mine without a bun... Try it with chili, cheese, onions, and this slaw omggggosh), fried chicken, I even put it on my spicy pulled pork tacos.

Your tree will look great in the front window! I keep one of those scrubbers in my shower all the time and I just quick wipe it down right before I get out of the shower! Thats one of my least favorite chore so it makes it so much easier when I only have to deep clean every once in awhile! Cant wait for your upcoming videos and to see how you decorate!

What if you took the corner piece out of your couch, moved it down some, and then attach the section you removed? That would give you a finished look on the end. Plus a smaller section you'd have to store somewhere.

Great videos! Can’t wait to see how you guys will decorate for Christmas! Question, when chase puts up your outside lights, how does he plug them all in? We kept blowing fuses last year when we put our lights around the house like you did. But we plugged them end to end which resulted with them all blowing fuses! Which was a total pain, to keep climbing up on the roof changing fuses all season! Thanks for all the awesome content!

We don’t have many strands of lights so we can plug them in together. I would plus yours into different outlets if you’re having trouble.

I would put the tree in The living room window. The only thing if you can't get the tree centered you may not be happy with it. I have to have things centered but that's me. Chase did a great job with the lights. They look so pretty. So glad I found your vlog. You're great at this. Blessings....

I like the tree in front of the window...Can you move the sectional more towards where the standing lamp is? May give you more room by the window. If needed the lamp can go in the corner by the window.

Ashley, how do you clean your shag rug in your bedroom? I have the same one & the white is turning brown. I don’t know how to clean it! I’ve tried resolve carpet cleaner & a wash cloth but it’s not cutting the job & I’ve been told I can’t use a carpet cleaning machine. Any helpful tips are welcome! Idk what to do.

The lights looks awesome! I really liked your tree by the mantle last year. I don't think the sectional and tree work well together with that piece missing. Plus with it by the mantle it's kind of the center of the home and you can see it from your room! I love using my tree as my night light.
