Baron Zemo is the newest season pass card in Marvel Snap. In this video I give you my initial impressions of him and whether I think he's good or not. The deck I tried out worked really well against most decks (not Thanos though because Thanos stinks) and it was really fun to play! You get to steal, destroy, disrupt your opponents cards and deck - what's more fun than that? 🤣 They will have no cards to play by turn 6, winning you all the cubes.

At 8:27 Yellowjacket didn't reveal becouse he was destroyed in Danger Room but Lockjaw put him in deck anyway. It's a Lockjaw bug. I had the same with Wasp once.

What's really weird is that it looks like they did get the power from Yellowjacket, (10 in the lane, only 8 from Doom + Mobius) but they didn't get the on reveal effect. It only would have cost them 1 based on their play order, and they didn't win regardless, but if that sort of thing swung a game I'd be pretty annoyed tbh.

@@bzcharkl would of cost them 3 as gladiator would destroy the jacket. Imagine losing an infinite conquest to that bug 😂

Card was destroyed, then shuffled back into the deck by lockjaw, somehow causing weird glitch where the card doesn't reveal. Wait WHAT?

This is actually one of the few season pass cards I have bought lately. The last few months felt really boring but this card definitely has the fun factor so I decided to get it.

at my first use of Baron Zemo, i Pulled Doctor Octopus. I think most people think you only get 1-cost card. for me, he is fun to play

Gladiator is pretty unique so there's no actual replacement for him. If you want to go for more disruption, Black Widow could work but Gladiator adds a lot more power to the board. Hope Summers might be okay cuz she'll give you extra energy! Also, when in doubt, Jeff is always a good option.

Been playing a lot of Theif decks this week, not a big fan of the Doc Oct versions. I feel like he screws me more than he helps. What I do like is the versions that add opponent discard. Moon Knight, Silver Samurai, and Black Bolt are go from trash status to all stars in that deck.

I kind of feel like hes a safer pick to take up the Gladiator spot for power in a Surfer deck. Zemo only needs to hit something 3 or more power to make up the power difference of Gladiator while having less downsides. Destroy is about your only real bad draw and even then you likely wouldnt have wanted to play Gladiator in that game anyways. You could even just play Zemo on Armor. I'm just surprised how many 3/5 cards we're getting with minimal to no downsides.

Yellow jacket was actually destroyed by danger room then shuffled in with lockjaw so they played a card that they couldn't actually play so it wasn't revealed. Not sure why its providing 2 power though.

100% agree. Zemo is kind of weak, but his effect is fun! First thing I played was a full-on mill deck, and it won some games, so no complaints!
