How do you like your cfmoto? Was debating between one of those or a Yamaha in the next year or 2 for ice fishing and hunting. Might pick up a snowdog this winter too.

@@charleslefebvre5515 I really like my CFMoto for both ice fishing and the rest of the year. It's been reliable and handles well in all kinds of terrain. Can't go wrong with a Yamaha either, but I've been happy with my CFMoto the last 3 years! The snowdogs look really nice, and I think their benefit is really if you are going on super narrow paths, or want to be out on ultra early ice

@@mnswim No problem, also have a couple videos coming out from using it up on Lake of the Woods over new years ice fishing with the ATV and rear chains on, so stay tuned if you want to see more of it in use on the ice too. I'll be switching in the next several days over to tracks on the ATV, and we will see if it still fits and how it handles it vs wheels.

This is why I like my old solid axle machine ....but you know what she works great!!! Atvs can pull more then what they r rated 4 😅

Heck yeah man, it's nice to have them when it's time for them to get to work. I work hard to save up for the next thing, right now saving up for a used boat in the Spring (side note as to not mislead, the Core Ice House I am borrowing for this season to get a feel for it as I am in the market to buy an ice house in the next couple of years, but the ATV I bought myself - full price)

You definitely want to get yourself some Woody's ice screws to put in all your ATV tires and probably your tracks too. Very easy to install. Adds lots of stopping and turning power while maintaining control. I put WOODY'S Attack 18 Twist Tire Screws 18mm/0.709in in my ATV tires. You probably want to go a bit longer screws to put in your tracks.

Really appreciate these videos! I’ve been doing a ton of research trying to figure out if a ice house is right for me and if so which one. All my research brought me to the Core-Ice 6515 I anxiously await for your video with the tracks on your wheeler. How well it fits in the trailer is a huge deciding factor for me. I have a full size Diesel Super Duty and live in southern WI. Pulling the core on the ice with my wheeler is my only option. The plan is to buy Tracks for my Sportsman 1000XP then pick up a a core-ice 6515. I don’t want to jump the gun though buying tracks until I know everything will work. My independent rear suspension is a concern while the house is on wheels also. Having no Core Ice dealers near me all I have to go on is what I can find on the internet. I will definitely make a drive to see the house in person though before pulling the trigger. Again THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Will not fit when tracks are installed. They are a lot of length!

I think width would be the issue before length. Worst case scenario I think he would possibly have to move the Otter monster box up a little. We will will all find out soon enough.

It probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to maybe even get a dolly if you keep it on wheels pulling it with the wheeler. Otherwise like you said that once it’s in skid mode it should be just fine.

Alex Looks amazing, so I've had tracks on my 2001 500 artic cat automatic. tracks are amazing but your gon a have to extension plow a d sprayers for yard or food plot work there's not a situation over the years We should hook up on the ice someday.robbie froM APPLETON

100000% right. I learned that this last weekend. Thought it would be no issue on glare ice, and my ATV in 4 wheel drive just spun haha. Good thing I brought my v-bar chains, threw them on the back tires and was back in the game no problem

All that weight will effect your shocks I've blown em dragging trees tracks a wheelers are almost unstoppable 4 wheel with tracks almost always cause if ya don't You will COOK the motor and yes even if ya put another cooling fan on ur radiator it will cook eventually I was cringing watching ya drop all the ### lol!!!!

Haha, I was too when it was happening, but it actually handled it pretty dang well. It will be VERY rare that I will tow it with the ATV like that, only from where I park the truck and bringing down onto the ice, then it will drop down to skid mode where there is literally no tongue weight. I'm putting the tracks on the ATV in the next few days and will do a simliar video to see how it fits / hauls it, then of course on ice footage too (I've got on ice footage coming with it on wheels soon too, rocked that over the New Years trip to LOTW)

@@scottmcley5111 If it is small enough to fit, otherwise they do make dolleys for the tongue that you can use too, which would be a good idea if going long distances with an ATV when it is on the wheels vs skids

The first time ya see it all ready to go it will have grown literally INTO A MONSTER I had a push tube I had to literally cut it in half brand new and splice a 12 inch tube addition.COUNTY PLOW ALEX you can move mountains you'll be laffin after every swipe or CRACK on the LAKE . .
