That guy was a kabaddi player during his 1st night when his friends sarcastically told him 'go & play your game' he started playing kabaddi with his newly wed wife & so his father slapped him telling that is it a time to play it's romance time. He was not hurting her he was playing kabaddi.

you don't understand Indian culture so it is difficult to understand adds. adds are made on the basis of emotional sentiment of the people. where it can hit the subconscious mind. example - toothpaste means Colgate Thanda(cold drinks) means Coca cola. Adhesive means Fevicol. 5star adds says , if you will eat 5 start chocolate , u will be in dreams , and forget everything.

In this mentos ad first that normal zindegi ( normal life ) he asked his mom "shall I watch a bit of TV while studying" so his mom got angry and called his father angrily. But in the Mentos zindegi ( mentos life ) he asked "Shall i study a while watching TV." So his mom got happy and political call his father and gave him a flying kiss.😤👊

Here is your explanation Firstly in Mentos add the guy said to mom "Hey mum, can I watch T.V. while studying" so thats why mother gets angry because it seems like he dont want do study and just want to watch TV... but other time guy goes to mom and asks " Hey Mum, can I study while watching T.V," ...so she became happy coz it seems like her son wants to study..just interchange of words changed whole meaning... And second add during honeymoon...his friend said that "as you play kabbadi (well kabaddi is a indian sport).. like that enjoy first time...guy take it seriously and started playing with wife ...wife confused and he comes out yelling that I won I won....so basically Ad is like "There is time for things to do and not to...but for eating that chocolate there is no time..u can eat wherever and whenever...

These ads are really old and not very popular haha where did you get these lmao The one with the guy and his wife, is him playing a game called kabaddi..It's kinda like tag. So instead of their wedding night going smoothly he decides to play tag with his new wife. Who is confused as hell.

Marketing department of every company builds content based on the local market. Marketing strategies are heavily influenced by culture and languages. Being an outsider you may not be able to relate to these ads. I find most of the adverts in Australia, Canada and USA boring because I can't relate much to their way of spreading message. Most of the time these two had problem relating to what was going on.

Any one raised outside India please stop commenting on our ads. You need to grow up in our country to understand the ads. For eg these guys don't know about 'khaini' so could not follow the tobacco ad. These guys still don't know in the pen ad the person was enacting as a south Indian and why they had chosen a south Indian. They have no idea about wagah border. They don't know Indian dad's and Indian mom's so they could not follow menthos ad. They have no idea about the conversation which took place in center fresh ad. They have no idea that the center fresh ad was making fun of other traditional ads. So any one raised outside India please do not pass comments.
