Gonna have to ask for source homie, because Grendel is at best a reference to sumo wrestling, along with other typical fat guy tropes, and Gauss is just run fast. Any other conclusions are just fan conjecture and hold as much weight as a paper boat in a lava flow.

Yareli is basically an incredibly weak and limited version of Zephyr. Worse tornado, worse and more awkward mobility and worse survivability. The sad thing is it's super obvious what she needs. Her passive needs to work with primaries. Her 1 needs to affect more enemies per cast, strip armor and be castable on k-drive. Her 2 needs to allow primaries and be easier to control in regular missions. For her 3 honestly I've always disliked it and I'd honestly rather just have a new ability instead. Her 4 I wouldn't say no to bigger pull radius but I think if her 1 got more targets and armor strip that would instantly help make her 4 very strong, maybe it could scale better though.

@@EmpyreanDreamer I was testing her passive yesterday and it's such a weird choice. 200% crit on secondaries?? I mean sure, it COULD work, but who uses secondaries for crit when primaries have Hunter Munitions? Her 1 went from trash to meh with the damage boost. 2 is still hell to control. You'd think they learn momentum movement isn't great when they redid Grendel meatball. 3 is her only saving grace and that's not saying much. Trash range, mediocre damage. "But use it on k-drive", no. Unless it's driveby damage worthy mobility + damage stack is not worth it. 4 is...wow. I don't even see it working properly with her 1 from what I tested. Here, let me cast my 4 and sit next to it with my 3 for about 20 seconds to kill everything it in.

@@thunderstripe Got into Warframe a week ago and I have already maxed out 17 frames and I can say to me so far out of the ones I have Yareli and Grendel are the most fun ( Grendel being my main) I havent really had major issues with Yareli I sit on merulina and use the blades and shoot things and it gets the job done atleast in the 100 lvl areas and sure she isnt the best frame but people saying she is the worst is just wrong imo I think Ivara is way worse but I dont know everything about the game just my experience so far.

@@jxstified7558 Ivara outclasses Yareli and a ton of other frames just by having an Invis ability, and her other abilities are still quite useful. She also makes spy very easy, though Wukong does that and much faster.

from my play with him, nourish+flow alone isnt quite enough for orbs alone if you get really spammy with his abilities. sometimes you run dry, especially if you miss the nourish upkeep (why isnt this part of the special UI bit?). though just using an energy pad when it happens solves that too, instantly giving you 307 energy per pulse with nourish up at 207% strength if you only selectively snipe eximus/heavy gunners/acolytes/etc with it then you can even get away with just 2 blue archon shards, no energize and drop flow for continuity since 25s on nourish is a bit annoying to keep up.

Nourish as a Helminth ability is nuts as well. Even though you get only 1 viral stack instead of 10 when taking damage, the fact that you get a big viral dmg buff and the energy orb mutliplier is just insane. I swapped Xata Whisper in Excalibur to Nourish, adjusted my build and now my Exalted Blade deals Toxin+Viral+Corrosive (corrosive thanks to Archon continuity).

His current passive is he gains around 200 to 250 armor for every enemy he eats(5 maximum).

they should add the slam you're talking about in the Catapult augment. Press your melee button while aiming at the floor to slam

The poor frame is the literal skeleton at the bottom of the pool that has been forgotten. I know there are other frames that need love too but Hydroid is definitely long overdue for help.

Nah at least he's used for farming setup. Meanwhile, Inaros is just a huge chunk of health with a very uninteresting kit.

@@quis398 it's not fluid and it's just *fine* not good is what I'm getting at, litterally make her 2 and 4 count as melees and give the heavy attack efficiency to 100% so you can actually build around it she's sooo close to being good

You don't need survivability as grendel if you're playing as you should.

Umbral Fiber = 770 HP, 673 Armor, and 22% Strength Gourmand = 750 Armor Only while stomach is full This choice is fairly easy imo I think Gourmand loses even against unranked Umbral Fiber

Why not both? I like the leap its fun af and really fits the theme. But she should also run around on all fours with a speed buff, left click/e should attack as if its an exalted weapon and the right click or alt fire should do the leaps, maybe even make the claw attacks build up more leap charges so you can stay in that state permanently. Your typical exalted weapon is boring and I don't know why people always seem to want them, but the current skill combined with an exalted weapon would be very cool imo. That said I find it very unlikely we'll get that because it would require more animation work and it also would just make her a way cooler and more interesting valkyr.
