Hello, this is my first time playing CoD on a gamepad and I’m very interested in how you manage to run on the left stick, on the right stick, turn the camera and at the same time slide, jump, change weapons and shoot, then quickly, do you extend another finger, or will you just quickly use the right finger to move? you press the stick quickly, I just don’t understand how you move like that, but I would like to be able to do the same

If he plays claw like @jvkez said, then you're likely not going to want to do that lmao it's incredibly awkward and you'll probably have a better time if you go n purchase a controller with paddles/buttons on the back. Trust me, I tried claw before I bought my current AimControllers 'roller, so from first hand experience, you're either going to 1) cramp your hand up badly, 2) genuinely give yourself arthritis, 3) give yourself carpel tunnel syndrome or 4) going to have to take VERY frequent breaks, like "once every 30 minutes or less at most" type of frequent. With the awkward positioning of the hand while playing claw, if you're not used to it, you're not gonna play well for weeks, maybe months, while you train your hand to adjust. The issue with claw isn't even the arthritis or carpel tunnel, although that's a genuine concern while playing this way, but the issue is more that your hands aren't meant to play this way so most people don't even try. You can go ahead and google it if you want, but if it doesn't work out/feel comfortable after a month or two, just bite the bullet n get a custom 'roller with paddles or buttons because you can remap the paddles and buttons to the button functions. Personally, I have 4 on my AimController and one is set to square, one set to X and then one for left and right stick presses. Pressing the sticks is REALLY fucking bad for your roller because it'll cause a lot of internal damage and you'll get stick drift eventually so I personally set my slide to R3 and melee to circle. Controllers have a feature that aim assist will follow your target when melee'ing so I don't mind taking my thumb off the right stick for this. Either way, good luck wiht whatever you decide to do bro!

claw or paddles, claw let’s u press every button with ur pointer while still controlling ur sticks, paddles does the same but don’t have to hold controller differently unlike claw

Check your dead zone, make sure your on linear or dynamic response curve, and he probably has ds4 settings also
