i was born with mono lids but at 12 years old i decided to try these stickers. i stuck them on 24/7 for the whole summer before i started junior high. i’m 28 now, and i still have double eyelids from conditioning the shape that summer. i’m not sure how this happened, but i was happy that my eyes were more open and bright. there would be moments they’d puff back out to monolid, such as if i had gotten swollen from crying, or, eating instant ramen too late at night. but sure enough my double eyelids would pop back in when i’ve debloated. i don’t have much regrets but i do have to admit i sometimes see asian models with monolids looking so sultry and sexy and just stunning with their make up looks, and it makes me wonder how i would look like if i had never decided to try the tapes. advice for the young bbs: love your beautiful monolids, and be mindful of your motivations while using tape! you’re applying tape because it’s fun and ur just being creative, that’s all. i was rebellious and ignored advice but listen to the old ladies because your mind will be totally refined as you grow! you could very possibly prefer the look of monolid eyes eventually, so don’t trip when you believe your look doesn’t “measure up” to what’s trending because it’s all lies ❤️ lol. remember monolid girls can do eye looks that NO ONE else can slay better than yourself so own it! k bye

I have the exact same eyes at 6:58 - my left eye forms a double eyelid naturally sometimes, and adheres to the eyelid tape MUCH better. But my right eye has fatter eyelids or smth, and the eyelid tape always just made it droopy. I cut my tape like instructed and it worked at giving my right eye a double eyelid! BUT the cut part is sharp and digs into the inner corner of my eye, which hurt a lot, so I had to take it off. Do any other viewers know how to prevent it from cutting into my eyelid? :(

Many people are unaware of this, but eyelid tape does fix your eyelids temporarily, but eventually can cause long term, if not permanent damage to your eyelid. It causes your eyelids to stretch and sag and therefore gives you an even worse problem than when you started. PLEASE PLEASE do NOT wear eyelid tape.

How can I follow your video if you start off without proper instruction. Will find another youtube video which properly describes what a single or double eyelid is, and what an inner and outer eyelid is referring to. This video says it is a tutorial for beginners, but it assumes knowledge that beginners do not have.
