That would be a great option: rent the cart for 24 hours and stay overnight exploring Isla Mujeres and its vibrant nightlife for stays. It depends on your budget. It can vary.... August and September are hurricane season, so it's a gamble. If there are no storms, expect it to be VERY hot.
