Instead of spamming shield when you're being killed, you should spam any mass ragdoll abilities that your character has. For DP, that's C, F and T. Just spam those keys if you're being killed. If that doesn't work, spam click the heal button.

Tip: when your playing as a character and someone tries to steal you don’t have to click on that character again you can just click deploy instantly, then you don’t have to click jean then dark pheonix ect this only works if u died as that character tho
