I was using a small sponge to muffle the sound but found that every now and then you would still hear a pulse of air sound that can be annoying in a quiet environment.
Then I thought to use these ear plugs because they have a more consistent and tighter membrane that they do a much better job and more consistent without the pulses every now and the. Also it's a good idea to use the ones with the strings attached so that way you pull them back out
