The Thor vs Trish and Chun-Li vs Iron Fist fight shots give me chills every single time. The former has awesome music, matching Thor's virtue and conviction. The initial zoom out from Thor is really epic, showing how much effort he puts in the fight while Trish is effortlessly weaving her way around. The composition of Chun-Li vs Iron Fist is so good, both characters are so well framed and are in a small enclosed area of their own, since both are martial artists. It conveys their fighting styles very well. I love how the camera goes against the spiraling direction the characters are forming and then sometimes go with it.

Love that solo Magneto vs Galactus at the end! Epic.

I’m still a bit pissed that they showed every single fight paused except for Akuma (street fight series- capcom ) Vs storm ( X men series- marvel). Which you can only see in the back ground of the fight at 4.23 in the video. Not only is Storm my favourite marvel character ever but that fight looked crazy awesome from what I’ve seen of it being in the background and I wish they had show it even for only a second or two on each character but oh well 😔

At the end Magneto is showing his class by being the only one with their eye on the ball...

Great thing about this trailer is that there is this sense of the underdog. While there are a couple of even matches, the rest have one character who seems vastly superior in strength to the other. Makes the pair-ups that much more exciting.

29 september 2017, watching this trailer after the MvCI fiasco, just to be sure it's not just nostalgia. But nope, UMVC3 was a great game, made with some passion and knowledge. Right before capcom died.

This was so hype, this franchise deserves a new game where it's treated with the respect it deserves.

I adored the animated trailers but I love dioramas too; they capture the dramatic and awesome moments and allow you to enjoy them like a visual buffet. Megaman and Death's Head (Freelance Peacekeeping Agent) are IMHO the two glaring omissions from the roster. DH is perfect for MvC; multiple weapons and witty humorous quotes. A Deadpool, Taskmaster, and Death's Head team would be perfect. I would have preferred Capcom took their time and released UMvC3 in 2012 with more characters and stages.

Here's how I think the fights will go.1. Nova wins, Ryu would win if he had his Evil Ryu form but he isn't in this game so Nova outclasses him in pretty much every category.2. Hulk wins, Haggar's tough but Hulk is in a COMPLETELY other league.3. Dante wins, you can't kill Dante. His healing factor is on the level of Deadpool's and Ghost Rider's stare would have no effect on Dante because he doesn't hurt innocents.4. Doctor Strange wins, tis is a VERY close call but Doctor Strange's knowledge on other realms likely means he knows how to combat creatures like Morrigan.5. Strider Hiryu wins, Spiderman's Spider Sense can be outmatched by those who move at speeds like his and Hiryu's speed and agility are absolutely insane.6. "Objection! Your healing factor is like Wolverine's! Meaning you can be killed by having your brain destroyed." "Does it look like I give a shit?"7. Wesker wins, Wesker's power may not be as destructive as Phoenix's but he has far more skill and speed. Plus, he has to deal with crazy mutants of his own on a daily basis, meaning even the Phoenix Force would be nothing new to him.8. Vergil wins. Yamato is a powerful blade that can sash through dimensional barriers an his healing power is the exact same as Dante's. With a sword like Yamato and the unlimited stamina of a Devil May Cry demon, Wolverine's adamantium doesn't even compare. Shout at me all you want Wolverine fans.8. Captain America and Hawkeye win, a Red Aremer swarm does not begin to compare with the kind of craziness Cap and Hawkeye deal with.9. Iron Man wins, as skilled and tough as Nathan is, he just does no have the firepower to compete with even the basic Iron Man suits.10. She-Hulk wins, Jill is skilled and the modifications from Wesker definitely speak to her physical prowess, however, she also needs the brain-power of non-modified Jill to beat She-Hulk. Great job Wesker, you just lost your greatest creation.
