Those mushrooms at the first stop are called huitlacoche, and they grow exclusively on corn. It's earthy and delicious.

Also, the molé place is called Antojitos, it's on Ave 30a. So good and so authentic. No sign on the place but if you see a paint store, it's just to the right. 😂

Bahahaha 🤣🤣 he was the last one in the group to pick his fresh juice & it was the only one left. Lol he looked at me and was like ew.. green juice 🤣💀 but after he tried it.. he was in love! Haha and I’m sure being the “healthy one” gave him a little boost. 😜🤣 Y’all HAVE to do a food tour! It’s always our favorite thing to do with a local when we go to a different country… we get to learn history, a local view point & get to try food we probably wouldn’t have ever tried before. GIRRLLLL THAT BATHROOM THO 🚽 🤣💀💀💀💀 all 3 of us were like ummmm this is crazy and unexpected hahaha it was memorable. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣💀 thanks so much for watching & for y’all’s support! Natt you are one brave girl.. I mean crickets. lamb balls, sorry (unmentionables). Stacey and I are looking forward to going in Oct. to Hotel Excart. All inclusive which includes all their parks (8 I believe) and airport transfers, as well as a Brazilian steakhouse in a cave. We are also looking forward to another group trip in 25, can't wait to hear the destination.

Loved watching this food tour. Everything looked amazing. We will have to go try a few of these places next time we are in Playa. If you are in Playa again at 12:50ish in your video, there is a place you can see in the background called Taqueria Gómez that also goes by Rico's Tacos uncertain what the name of the place is, lol. The best Tripa we have ever eaten in our life's. The other off the beaten path place we randomly just walked up on one morning for breakfast was Los Cacerolas. They have a Killer chilaquiles. Second best we have ever ate in our life. Highly recommend these two places on your next trip to playa.

It really was delicious! So, carnitas is the meat and the way it's cooked, so yes... you can enjoy it in many forms... tacos, burritos, or any other delivery method to your mouth! Lol... We had it in taco form. Hope you're doing well!
