This is just utterly the best!. Stoner groove music with psychedelic sophisticated uncomplicated cohesive flowing spiral riffs that get under the skin and feel like deja vu or sympatico dna where I could sleep, dance, daydream, do art, or even hike with...... like a great partner. Hearts!!!

I can't get enough of these guys. It's perfect pop. The more you listen the perfecter it gets. All utterly marvellous. I'm hooked! Both albums are brilliant. If anyone is planning to get hammered at a barbecue in the sun one balmy afternoon, here's your soundtrack.

The funny thing about this band is you can tell that they really don’t like each other, but that clash drives the music. They openly deny being friends in the interview. They were never going to last more than a handful of albums, so you get really great records born out of a weird mix of rivalry and compatibility.

"disquisition about their first song"......The guitar open with a sound like the vocal melody of "Rome Was not Built In A Day" of "Morcheeba"....and....The 3/4 rhythm used by them, reminds me "Here Comes The Sun" of "Beatles".....However, it is a good song

And these KEXP chaps are a bit of a find. Rather earnest, and all the better for it too. They're sweet. Quality of their acts is 10/10. Looks like my iTunes spend is going to spiral out of control too.

Not so much their self-titled, more like their VU posthumous album. In other words, they're like a Velvet Underground dominated by the guitar style of Sterling Morrison but with a bit more folk thrown in.

that might be on purpose. Both the lead singers play intricate guitar riffs that interweave and bounce off each other...So perhaps they kept the bass simple so it didn't step on the guitars... There's also a newer KEXP session of these guys, with a different drummer and bass players. It sounds tighter, IMO..
