One of the best things Bestheda ever did is allow a slice of cake to console community as well (modding) which we would be missing otherwise

Fair warning, one of these mods adds in a Giant Plague Spider to the tutorial and a crazed explorer to Bleak Falls Barrow that are unkillable at low level.

Awesome list though believe it or not I actually like the start of Skyrim so I keep that as it was but ran into trouble with the first giant spider down in the cave after escaping Helgen so I might turn the deadly bosses off.. Maybe

There was a unkillable spider in the beginning. Also when I got to the first town there was. NPC named sentry who won't stop speaking. Last thing... Every NPC I try to speak to almost instantly will close their dialogue. So right now it's basically unplayable

Even though ps has a far more limited modding scene than Xbox and PC I'm so glad there are people like you who still go the extra mile for the unfortunate (like me) 👍🏾 Some mods for ps4/5 that weren't here that I would like to mention: Wilds of Skyrim: basically an aio for encounter overhauls and immersive patrols and the such. it's just an amazing mod and hasn't left my lo since. YMD2 by Cyan49: Probably the best combat overhaul for playstation, the parry system is so satisfying for Skyrim and it adds a new way of approaching battles instead of just spamming attack til you win. 13's Beaten path by Beveryofa: it's basically a mod bundle of immersive fallen trees, lanterns/lamposts of Skyrim, point the way, ancient roads and juliah dirt replacer. It's really good for mod space. Adamant and Mysticism ps4 versions: two mods by SimonM that overhaul both the magic scene and perk scene. Give you a reason to actually try multiple builds. Love how every mod list or mod recommendation never shows how to load them. Molded skyrim from the beginning but still cannot do a manual Anything. Always need someone else to install them. So hard.

I’m on ps5 and I’ve disabled like half of them sense getting this exact load order and the game still crashes every time I try to enter windhelm, I had to disable a few of them like the texture overhaul and dense grass because it crashed every time I got near marthal or dawnstar and I was fine with that but I can’t enter windhelm at all now but I don’t want to get rid of the mod that changes it because I want to see what it looks like and I like all of the other places the mod changes so maybe this is to many mods even for ps5? Is anyone else on ps5 having issues with windhelm?
