I’m honestly a little jealous that you still get to read these comics and experience these stories for the first time. This is, by far, my favorite spider-man story in any medium and is easily in my top comics of all time. Superhero or otherwise. I truly hope you enjoy them. You’re in for a wild ride.

Man, let me tell you: "Ultimate Spider-Man" was my uncontested favorite "Spider-Man" run for years of my life. The run was finally dethroned by my favorite run, the J. Michael Straczynski run, particularly the years he worked with John Romita, Jr. This series introduced so many nuances and turns into the "Spider-Man" mythos, even though it was an alternate universe. Every character is well-written and beautifully drawn by Bendis and Bagley. I won't provide spoilers because you're reading this for the first time (jealous!), but prepared to be blown away.
