Yes, the Backschwein and Buletten in the video are typical German foods. We wanted to showcase something other than the ubiquitous Currywurst :)

Correction: beef is eaten in a lot of states down south in india. It is legal there.

Why is a specifically Turkish thing (Doener) so popular in BERLIN? What's the connection?

Wenn ich meine Freunde frag, was ist typisches berlin essen ist die antwort IMMER Döner. When ever I ask my friends what a typical Berlin food is the answer is döner.

Markthalle 9 is not what is used to be. Now only hipsters can efford the high prices there. It is good though. But the nice atmosphere from once is gone.
