And if you're really skilled you'd put the tubes on the seat pans (backrest, armrest, and seat) on a metal plate embedded into the bottom of the foam (or into the metal plate) that way you will never feel the tubes even though the seat would take longer to initially cool the cooling would be more evenly distributed although you'd have to then use some thermal insulating mat on the bottom/backs of the seat pans

First of all, I was very happy with how fast this item was delivered. kzfaq.infoUgkxYR69rUVDfF56JHQRldV2uJeXaPA9LTZW It came a day before the listed delivery date, which was super great! I was able to assemble it myself with no difficult and I am not an engineer or a put-it-together expert. The chair is super comfortable, I play video games for roughly 3-4 hours at a time and it does not make my back hurt or neck hurt. The Reclining function actually surprised me because it goes very low, you could fall asleep on it ( and in fact i have while laying on it with a foot rest for my legs). The red is a bold choice and I usually stay away but I love how the red and black contrast looks on this type of material. The wheels on this chair are very very quiet, I have wood vinyl in my apartment and there is absolutely no noise. OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND or BUY IT AGAIN !

@geroldmanders9742
@geroldmanders9742 3 жыл бұрын
Sweating is a passive process using evaporation. While that is a good method of cooling down in a non-humid environment, it doesn't work when there is humidity. Which is why people can and do get heat strokes. The water cooling in the chair is a proper heat exchange, which works as long as there is electricity (and water for the actual heat exchange). Humid or not. Technically, you are not wrong, but that does not make you right.
@Macantor13
@Macantor13 3 жыл бұрын
@@geroldmanders9742 We are technically water cooled both by sweat evaporating and also by blood flow carrying heat from our core to our extremities to be transferred to the environment around us. Sure it's not efficient, but it's still pretty much the same process as water cooling.

Well it's why school heating systems are so undersized for the square footage of the class rooms. 25-30 people in a room are generating 2500 to 3600 watts of heat, which is two big electric space heaters. So if your having a party at your house/apartment you should adjust the temp to make it feel a bit too cold before all your guest arrive to help your HVAC system keep up.

I'd be curious to see the change that adding more tubing but on separate loops would do. Having one long tubing would be able to carry less heat away from the chair. Adding a normal radiator before the peltier cooler could remove some heat from the water too, but that feels like something that would potentially save only a decimal of a degree...
