Still remember this match 6th november 2002 and on the same day Bhai duj was there which we called Bhaiphota. One photographer resides next to me he gave a photo at the time of toss. I still have that pic. Now that photographer is paralysed he left job. I was 13 years old at that time. Those where enjoyable days 😢

OMG..i am watching this clip after almost 20 years. This was my 1st match which I watched in Keenan Stadium with my cousin oneday before Diwali. We entered in stadium around 6am in the morning. Police didn't allow food and water bottle inside stadium. It was sunny day. By afternoon we were hungry and thirsty. Everyones food package was mixed. Then policeman next to me gave me 2 polythene 1 with aloo paratha and sudha peda. We had and watched match. There were 3 times more people entered in the student stadium and it was difficult for police to manage crowed. No place to sit. With hunger and frustration of India losing match. People started throwing bottles and leftover food inside ground. Match stopped for 20 minutes... india lost that match... Sarwan hit 4 on last ball.

Chris Gayle dominated this series with 3 centuries which is why they clinched the series against a very strong Indian side on their home turf.

I remember this match and whole series in this series villain role was played by V V S Laxman his batting in the middle overs slowed the run rate and then the West Indian batting chased the Indian total because of Chris Gayle and power hitting by Ramnaresh sarwan. No wonder V V S Laxman was later dropped from ODI Team.
