It almost brought me to tears when it started showcase all the different location that were introduced to us in SU throughout its seasons. Really reminded me that I was there for the first episode premiere when I was still in 4th grade and that both the show and it’s audience has come so far.

Realizing that this show is most likely ending soon, it makes me sad. For two years I’ve been searching on the internet where to watch it, I was amazed by the show, and when I found out about the movie, I was even more excited. Somewhere in October I joined the fandom, I already knew most spoilers but I didn’t care, I knew all of the characters even though most of them I haven’t actually seen. I know the fusions, and I’m on season 3. The movie was absolutely amazing, and so is Steven Universe Future. When this show ends it will be heartbreaking. But I’m proud to see how far this show came, we love you Steven Universe❤️

It's a sad theory (i think) but it's portrayed by a beautiful recreation of the shows art style. I actually enjoyed having no colours as it's an emotional & slow song and the shows usually bright characters would have not fit. Perhaps it's a way of telling us to say goodbye to the show and not to hang onto it? Nothing can last forever but it will still be there. Overall a lovely video that shows Steven finally growing into a new person and not relying on the gems all his life. Keep up the good work and i hope to see more art from you ❤.

Let me tell you, atenahena. You’ve captured the whole song and show beautifully. It felt so... serene seeing all the different places that Steven made memories in yet sad because they’ve faded. Not to mention that you played a lot with perspective, which really payed off in the ending result. I could follow along all the emotions that Steven and the gems had. Steven looked so lost and confused yet the gems seemed happy. This really captured the bitter sweetness of the song and even Steven’s character itself. In conclusion, keep doing what you’re doing. After tonight's episodes, we can see Steven is already distancing himself a bit from the gems... he no longer works at Little Homeworld, he's keeping his emotions from them, etc. Makes me scared he'll finally snap at someone with his powers and in the aftermath, leave.

With episode 9 and 10 this just seems like a very probable ending

Why does this really seem like a song that they would sing

I imagine Steven will leave to try to live his own life, maybe with Connie. After a couple years his memories start to fade. He's engaged to Connie. He goes on a small hike with her, and finds a warp pad somewhere around his new house. The memories come flooding back. He starts to cry, as he warps back to his old house. Everything is the same. It feels like he barely left. Pearl catches his eye and she starts to cry too. She looks the same. Steven has changed alot, though. Pearl calls the other gems. Amythest and garnet come, and start to tear up too. Amythest even does. Steven starts to fully cry. It feels like the last couple years disappeared, and he's back to when he was just a teenager.

Imagine this. Steven being corrupted and goes crazy becoming the Centipede seen in the intro. Corrupted Steven begins to destroy Beach City and to injure various citizens. The crystal gems and Connie, however, manage to keep him at bay and thanks to their love Steven becomes normal. Steven with all guilt feelings for nearly destroying Beach City and injuring many of his friends needs to take some space for himself. Leaving Beach City. Sorry for the bad English but i'm italian

God, I've always loved this song. It's always been really close to my house, even though I can't quite put my finger on why. It always makes me a sort of bittersweet sad. Reminds me of the end but that it wasn't bad. Seeing the show that most impacted my life, with my favorite character, with beautiful art, and the shots of Beach City, plus the theory of him leaving...I don't know. It just. It's so much. I actually teared up and cried- not bawling or anything, just a content, calm crying. Thank you for making this. This reminds me that not everything can stay the same, no matter how much we want it to. Thank you.

This is incredible. You work is something I would love to just...frame...and to just put on an eternal wall for generations to see. It's lovely and it's a gift.

So when I found this, it was the same day that I discovered that my bestie had a major crush on my crush...and had a better chance of being with him than me..... (and was already 'ahead of me' in a relationship sense). This helped me to kind of get over it, to be happy for them (even if I'm hurt for the 3rd time....in the exact scenario.....by my 3rd and most favourite best girl) and to keep hoping that ne day, I'll know what they'll feel....one day. The animation is pretty as is but if it were to be fully completed, w/ colour and junk, I bet it'll be beyond gorgeous. Great story/animation match w/ the song (it's so pretty!)

steven universe has been , quite frankly , my life for quite a while now. i watched the first episode when it premiered on cn, and fell in love wiyh the characters at first sight. i remember watching it with my grandmother before she passed away, my dog on the couch. they are both gone now, but steven has stayed with me throughout these troubled times in my life. i owe so much to this show, it has helped me so much,, thank you for everything, steven universe.

Damn I remember watching this animatic back when it came out, I must have watched this like 50 times. This song was my most listened to on Spotify that year, almost entirely because of this animatic. So much has happened since then, I’ve battled cancer, currently dealing with Arthritis (at 17 lol), Depression and GAD. I just want you to know how much this animatic meant to me then, and how much it still means to me now.
