My Incredible Hulk .50 BMG rifle set me on the ELR path. I knew right away this was only an entry point and that I’d want a more serious ELR rifle - enter .375 CheyTac. This build is designed for ELR competition, something I’m looking forward to learning under the mentorship of King of 1 Mile and King of 2 Mile Paul Phillips! (His friend and fellow King of 1 Mile, Clay Rhoden, will also be assisting.)

It surprisingly easy I got 1,000yrd a few months back. Before that 300yrd was the most I had shot. Don't over think it I built a very expensive rifle just for 1,000yrd and 1 mile. But I was surprised my 5.56 bolt rifle with a 4-16x50 scope was more than enough for 1,000yrd. And it was 1/5 the $. I intend to try for 1 mile this fall with the more expensive and powerful rifle I built.

I’ve been trying out a Zeiss LRP S3 4-25 on a 6ARC gas gun. I have it in a 20 moa NF mount. From my zero stop I have 34.7 mils of usable elevation. I don’t know how much magnification people generally use on ELR rifles but I was blown away by the amount of elevation that thing has.

The break is amazing. I have a Sabatti Rover Tactical in 300 Winchester Magnum. Barrel is huge in diameter. Unfortunately from the factory it has a non threaded muzzle. Had a local gunsmith thread the barrel. Ordered the same break made for a 308 diameter bullet. Recoil is like a 243 Winchester now.

Have you tried any of their new pearl chameleon color changing effects pack yet? I’m debating on if I wanna spend the money on something that will model real bad or something I’ll have to cross stitch and coat multiple times to lay and not have a nasty flop light side effect.
