RUMINATIONS: Not much to add about this second part that wasn't brought up in the first review. The inspiration for the title card obviously came about thanks to the idea that even robot ultimate Tony Stark was drunk. I've gotten some comments in recent times decrying my drunk voice, not because it's inaccurate (though I've never been drunk, so it very well could be) but rather that it was apparently insensitive to people who suffer from alcohol addiction. Eh, I tend to be pretty understanding about a lot of issues and am willing to change myself and my ways for the sake of not demeaning people who suffer from real issues, but at the same time, I'm not making fun of people who have problems resulting from alcohol, but people who are drunk. And there are plenty of people out there who drink, get drunk, and are hilarious as a result. I could be wrong about that and I'm actually being horribly insensitive, but I don't think so. But I COULD change my mind about that at some point.

Ultimate Wolverine tried to bang Ultimate Jean Grey who's like 16 or 17 (while being a traitor for the Brotherhood) and when Jean got tired of him trying to get into her pants she switches his mind with Peter Parker. Weeellll *puts on comic, know-it-all glasses*, Wundagore is the hidden mountain where Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch were born. It has ties to magic mostly due to the demon Chthon being imprisoned there by Morgan Le Fay ( this is in the 616 universe, I have NO idea what its significance is in the Ultimate Universe)

I know he was originally a nice guy who got turned into a super soldier but he still spent time in the trenches (so to speak) with other soldiers. They'd have rubbed off on hi, They'd have to if they formed any kind of bond.

I read a long time ago about a battle that was won because the general(?) began cussing his troops out and they were so shocked that they did well. By WW2 it wasn't that extreme, but still, they probably swore less than your average squeaker.

PosthumanHeresy Well to be fair I think that concept originated from a time when the idea of being promoted to your rank was unheard of un-thinkable. You weren't made an officer by your own merit you were given it because you were nobility. Things would have changed when ordinary working class people started being made officers. At least that's part of it anyway. Society changes. We're a lot less formal these days.

1: the more "classic" hammer isn't Mjolnir in this universe. It's just a hammer Thor has in his arsenal. 2: Mjolnir was forged in the heart of a dying star, and Uru is probably some kind of mythical ALLOY, not pure metal, and it's possible iron was used in the making of that alloy.

I remember getting so pissed at this comic when it first came out. If only I knew what was coming XD The Ultimate Universe was a darling of mine as all if not most of its titles came in only one magazine in my country, so it was easier to follow than the rest of the Marvel Universe for a kid without much money as I was. I understand where you're coming from by disliking it, though. The titles varied a lot in quality, but I remember them eventually being fairly ballanced in their edginess, at least with guys like Kirkman and Vaughn coming in. Pyro was introduced in Kirkman's run on X-Men and, if memory serves, he was portrayed very sympathetically until allying with the Brotherhood. Then in Ultimates 3 the rape thing came out of nowhere. Uuuuugh. Also, still weird, but Millar at least wrote Wanda and Pietro's thing to be somewhat subtle, while in this comic they just straight up fuck. Man, I hate this comic so much. Btw, I like the art in it even to this day, I tried to copy its style in my drawings for a while XD. The coloring caught my attention because it felt different and new to me, but overall it was hit-or-miss situation. All that said, I don't think it was a match for the kind of comic The Ultimates 3 was trying to be. Or maybe super heroes in general? Duno. Anyways, great video! Greetings from Brasil!!!!
