This is a fan game, but they added 4 times as much character s so there is a load of mechanics so to animate to be scary all of them would take years

Nah, static jumpscares is more efficent, since adding animations would make the file size more than enough. Plus idt the engine can handle that much

You got a Withered Bonnie jumpscare? Impossible! He appears so rarely that I turned him to 20 and flipped the monitor up and down all night long, and he didn’t even appear once.

The problem comes from the engine, it would not be able to support animated jumpscares with the amount of characters that are present. So the jumpscares are the result of hardware limitations.
