One of the best gravel event of the year is the ULTRA GRAVEL CHALLENGE, although its not a race I'm proud of my effort, for a 160km gravel ride this is my best result so far. And in this vlog I will share to you my NOT A RACE RECAP..

Glen, Outstanding upload. Napanuod ko ang uploads ni Pam Perfecto, Unliahon at Ian How. All three uploads are outstanding. Pam and Unliahon rode a chill ride, noncompetitive, ika nga, "smiles per hour" ang larga nila. I love their uploads, very fun, relaxing, full of good vibes, Ian How's ride is more like a lesson on how NOT to ride any bike ride. It was the exact opposite of your ride preparation. You need to watch it in order to appreciate what I meant. Yours is more a competitive ride and it is a beautiful example of what any amateur cyclist must do to ride and finish any long-distance ride, be it a mixture of gravel and road. 160 kilometers, that is basically 100 miles of mixed, tarmac, bad tarmac, gravel and sandy trails. I simply love the blow-by-blow account, kung paano mo/niyo with your ride buddies, conquered the course. Wala ngang video footage, pero exciting ang pag kuwento mo. Higit sa lahat, pinakita mo, at pinatunayan mo, by placing 3rd, Congratulations by the way, that preparation, before the ride, from proper and on time nutrition, hindi ka nag bonk, to track read or reconnaissance; drafting and taking turns, and finally accepting your limits and riding at your own pace, are the keys, to riding competitively. ALL the above variables are within your control, and you can really influence them. You did burn your matches, but, unlike the other riders, you burned them very wisely. The rest is up to God. Hindi ka naaksidente o bumagsak, no major mechanical issues, that is God's blessing. Ingat lagi. Maraming salamat.

Yes pwede specially if 240km, but for me wider tire will do. Saves me weight than a suspension fork. 🤙🏽

una kong napanood tong 160km ke ian how, then dito sa inyo. at ngayon ko lang nalaman na me 50km pala. pakiramdam ko yun lang kaya ko. pero sobrang solid nyo mga sir. gusto ko sumali dahil na inspire ako sa expi ninyo. ang iniisip ko na lang kung kaya ba namen ng bike ko to? ferrino monstro gravel, walang upgrade kundi yung brakes to tektro c550. more power sayo cycling chef.

Master ginamit mo na ung bite mount ni go pro or dji? Mas solid po yan mas maganda capture ng FOV. Pede ka bumili ng lanyard para naka sabit lang sa leeg mo pag di ka mag rerecord 😊
