Richard showcases his ultra lightweight approach to portable operation by fitting everything needed to make a contact into the compact Ham Bag. That's not bad with such small antennas. And only 5W as running on the internal battery. The 705 is a fantastic transceiver.

I’d recommend tuning either of those antennas for best SWR using the IC705’s on board SWR meter

I like the small antennas. Are those available to the U.S.? I like the portable radio set-up and those antennas seem to be operating well. 73
