I got a 1916 F4 and that's been the luckiest find of my life! It plays like a dream! I prefer f5 models but Im not complaining! Mine has a black finish. I plan on playing mine and not keep it as a collectors item! Thats what the previous owner wanted and since it frets so easy and the intonation is pretty much perfect what a treat!

Those old Gibbys have a wonderful round tone they blend together so well for three of them thank you so much for sharing though I wished I had purchased one about 20 years ago when I could’ve afforded them.!
