yeah..but most of SF fans realized it much later. From SF1 up to Alpha, Capcom portrayed him as a mean, brutal guy. He even holding a dying guy (Dan) and throw him away like a garbage before we fight him in Alpha. THAT is pure evil. Before he left Shadaloo, we never know what in his mind, we just see a brutal tower of death- Bison strongest body guard.. plus, we just know he is pissed with his lost (and scar) to Ryu.. But later Capcom made us know the real story Ryu was already lost. He was about to help him to get up and suddenly a dark hadoed metsu-shoryuken just came out of nowhere. (But still, he took it as a lost and never call Ryu as a cheater..)

@@brogoram yeah Ryu pretty much accepted his loss at Street Fighter 1 So the Dark Hadou Possessed him to give the Shoryuken So Sagat hated him but later understood He never did it on purpose As in His SF5 Story Sagat was also inflicted with the Dark Hadou So Absolutely Understood Ryu

As a nak Muay I can personally relate to such stories. It's funny cos adon is very arrogant and fully adorned with Mongkol and Prachaet but he is the sid Muay, Sagat wears only scars but is in fact Ajarn Yai! mai pen rai.

The real life Sagat was a powerful Muay Mat if I'm not mistaken I read it once and most of his fights he punches a lot Which is translated in-game too because his most powerful attacks are punches and elbows

Well he has beaten Sagat in a couple fights though he was severely injured doing so. Size doesn't necessarily equal superior strength. Adon is a good fighter but his arrogance and ego lock away his potential.

@@tyronehuston1260 sagat lost to ryu because he went to help ryu up after beating him to a pulp, at which time ryu tapped into the satsui no hado to release a metsu shoryuken. sagat has fought him cannonically after this fight, and lost.

Come on, now. This is ridiculous. I know it's Adon's story mode and he's supposed to win, but really, Sagat would put him down on his arse without breaking a sweat. I mean, look how he blocked all those attacks with no effort. Though I could be wrong, because Adon was attacking in rage there, and was unfocused until the real fight began

+Liam Roberts actually Adon holds one canon victory over Sagat but it was against a wounded Sagat and even then Adon barely won the fight drunk on his own ego and victory he then went on to challenge Akuma.......it didn't end well for Adon Akuma said he wasn't even worth a kill

Yeah that's right. The "twisted power" that Sagat is on about is the Satsui no Hadou, and Adon wants it for himself if I recall correctly. That's why he was after Akuma in Alpha 3
