I think it would be really cool if Ultrakill ended with you fighting Gabriel with 3 health bars, but the last health bar is a phase change like V2, where Gabriel gives you one of his swords (the yellow arm) and you unequip all your other weapons out of respect as you two have a sword duel to the death.

great idea but the respect part is weird for me because v1 is a robot. other solution: gabriel somehow destroys all v1's weapons and gives it one of his swords for a fair fight :D

@@VexarionFrom the book in 7-2 that is presumed to be written by a Gutterman, we see that blood fueled machinery can in fact think and dream. Not only that, but the P-2 terminal mentions how the terminals have grown “bored” and started rating performance of machines in hell (the score you get at the end of a level) for entertainment. Taking these 2 things into account, it is basically confirmed that the transferring/fueling of machines through blood is what gives them sentience. V1, being a blood fueled machine himself, should then also be able to think, as shown when V1 says, “You’re not getting away this time,” when you fight V2 for the second time. This is why I believe V1 would have the capability gain respect for Gabriel, but it’s still up to your interpretation :)

5:41 Any enemy that gets puppeted will have their atack speed decreased compared to their normal counterpart. 14:21 For the second ending, what was supposed to happen is that you would kill yourself (since you were the only thing that had blood) and go to heaven, that's what I've seen in a video. It happens once you re-open and click to play the level again.

I like to think that for the ending, after V1 kills everything in hell, the game tells V1 that with nothing else left in hell, it itself has become Hell itself. And “finish what you’ve started” would end in V1 shooting itself

The mannequins defense is blood minos because heaven knew that with how strong minos prime was that he was a formidable threat, so after V1 kills him heaven needed to make the closest loyal recreation (why he is slow)

Besides the ending being awfully structured past "2 SOURCES OF BLOOD DETECTED NEARBY" the 8:00 is just a lame-ass excuse, map makers. That's usable blood that fills your health bar. "UNABLE TO HEAL" my ass. Just make every pillar, except for one far away, much darker and have no animation. If the player breaks some of them (that bleed blood in a smaller distance, since it's stale blood) insert "Deal close range damage to douse yourself in FRESH BLOOD. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO REGAIN HEALTH." message from the tutorial. Even more references and all of this fits nicely. Technical parts are impressive, but jarring and the same time
