Hey Stiliyan, glad to saw you on youtube. I have a vacation at Kos Island and will bring all my stuff. Gonna look for sea bass. Can you advice me a spot that near to Eastern Side of Island? Any recommendation would help me so much. I had a car accident last week so I can’t swim and at least some pleasure to get from sea bass 😁 thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with Kos Island. I would suggest you find the rocks, and the fish will be there for sure poppers and minnows will catch fish for sure. I wish you a speedy recovery.

I checked the surroundings and looked perfect from all sides. it just seems to be a bit deep, so may be some soft plastics like Fiiish black minnow and deep diving lures will be good to have in the box.

Yes, it is. This time, we had to travel for some time to get to this place. I was with friends so we decided to go there and give it a try. Everyone was happy at the end 🙂

Thank you! Well, the rod is about £150 HTO rock and force, the reel at the moment if you buy it second hand is about £350(daiwa exist 2000sp), line is £30.

Hi. I wanted to be there while watching the video. It was a great hunt. I will be on the island of Rhodes on June 16 and will stay for 1 week. I will keep 10-30 grams of straw with me. I want to try it from Afantou beach in the mornings, maybe I will try it in the evenings as well. Do you have any suggestions? What kind of bait should I use and will I have a chance of catching fish from the beach? Thank you so much👍

You should be able to catch fish from the beach. I was just checking it now, and if you are close to this location, I would suggest giving it a try. It looks very promising 👌!!! I like surface lures to be honest with you, it is lots of fun when fish is around.

nice video brother. can i ask what size mono you are using as a leader for bass on the ultralight rod ?

Thank you! I'm using 0.18 trabucco fluorocarbon. Last year, I was using 0.14, but I lost a few fish and decided that 0.18-0.20 would be more suitable because of occasional bluefish striking the popper.

@@hungryfish7352 thank you for the information! I am using 0.16 at the moment on my ultralight but to be honest i am quite sceptical to use the rod on bass with this setup! I might give 0.18 a try to see if i can get better results ☺️

Добро да е, ами от групите в който членувам наблюденията са ми,че сега е момента за големи хищни риби в Гърция. Този клип е от лятото. Не знам с каква пръчка ще ловиш иначе според мен си вземи повърхностни примамки. Мога да ти препоръчам Facebook група където може има интересна информация, но ти може и да си член вече там.
