I’ve personally noticed that kicking while the enemy is stunned leads to insane loops so I’d recommend throwing those into your gameplay style too

I find on light weight builds kick is only good for getting the acs break. Unless you have no other damage options available kick does too little damage to worth missing out on the direct damage bonus from other attacks. If you are not aware kick damage is determined by your ACs weight.

@@RedMoonLoop I never said kicks are for damage and yeah I know ac weight determines their damage lol. What I said was they’re good for loops or pseudo combo strings. If you weren’t aware, kicks stun and open your opponent for big damage with your main weapons.

Dude, you are great. Not only your builds are really creative but also you are very very clear with explaining, you are informative and you condense it really well. It's really nice to listen to your build gameplay commentary. Keep it going, I am waiting for new PC to start AC VI journey and I will definitely pick here for builds. Though I first planned a Spike/Laser Lance build for PvE, but your builds are very creative.

This is insanely close to a build I’ve been using almost since release that I called the “wasp” before I even saw your bug inspired build names haha. Glad someone else thinks alike. Mines similar but with reverse joints (I’m going to try to go back to the Nacht bipedal after watching this) and with the shoulders as the Schneider laser cannons, and with either a laser pistol + Schneider laser shotgun (for the “sting” charged attack on top of good pressure) combo, or a rifle + pile bunker combo. Anyway, I’ve been loving binging your videos, and your insights into pvp strategy and adaptability has been wonderful. Keep up the good content

I love this build. It reminds me of the my own build from ACFA with two small arms and two shoulder grenade launchers, using the splash damage to hit ground targets by jumping in the air. One thing I would change, as much as it pains me (because I love it too), is the generator. The NGI 000 is really heavy and being overburdened throws off off my muscle memory with how it affects movement although swapping it out does mean losing a lot of EN capacity. In the end it's personal preference

I love seeing people use the large coral generator. If you can work around that downtime when empty EN, you have *so much* to work with. On an agile build, it's so easy to avoid damage even surrounded in 3v3

I also found one of those bad cook missile builds, couldn't beat them like you could, with anything I tried. My close range lightweight main didn't have anything approaching those massive earshots to out-dps the flamethrower, and made the seige missiles a nightmare to dodge. Midrange laser rifle build unfortunately has garbage projectile speed so I literally could not hit the guy at all. And long range plasma bombardment still can't out-dps missiles. Good to know there's *some* way to beat those guys.

Oh hey I ran a similar build through almost all of the campaign, and done a ton of pvp with it. Reverse legs, laser pistols, and songbirds, before replacing. I'll have to try the nacht legs!

I have a similar build, no ng up to last mission, still finishing off all the combat logs. Dual ludlows with stun needle launcher. That stun gun smg thing looks really cool. Electricity build up is a nice bonus.

I figured out double earshots during my 3rd (current) playthrough and it's sort of a guilty pleasure. Fun to whip those out to just destroy whatever obstacle took you down during the mission!

earshot is my favorite back weapon i think I love the openings it gives also it has some insane tracking you can move past enemies have a blast readied and while you're in between movement you are very likely to psyche them out and hit inthat short duration.

I've got a build that's been working fantastically for me. I put a focus on defensive stats above almost all else except when there was a major AP bonus over just a few defensive stats. Then either running the missiles held in this build ( 8XDNF9XU0WFN ) or the quad shotguns in this guild ( HQ7E241HMFEM ). Then its all about drifting, assault boosting constantly to ram into people with either build to bully people with your large girth and alternating your fire so you can potentially catch people after they dodge and not waste all your shots in one go. This works for the missiles as well to provide a constant stream of projectiles that's harder to evade then a wave. Do not hesitate to assault boost at flying AC's to attempt to tackle them, it throws off their game lmao.

Your videos and builds are really nice! Have you considered trying to go the other way around, countering meta builds with your own unique builds? aka like the part around 9 minutes where you explain how to fight skybox missile boats, but more in depth. I personally struggled against a friend's build like that the first time we tried PvP and it stuck with me lol

Your build/commentary videos are so good! I would watch dozens of these. Have you messed around with the spread bazooka much? I like using it in a similar role to how you're using the earshots. Much less damage unless you're quite close, but the splash AOE size varies depending on the range you use it at, and it comes off of cooldown more than twice as often as the earshot.

You can honestly use stun guns with any of the shoulder weapons. Been using since day 1 on xbox. People sleep on them and the needle handguns.

Those shoulder GLs saved my ass in the campaign too. Praised be the wide radius of explosion. Also an edit: Im curious to see if you could make the shoulder Cruise Missiles work. (I don't know their in-game name. The slow speed ones that look like, well, Cruise Missiles)

They look like reverse joints but they are actually bipedal. They are basically a mid point between the 2 as they have i believe the longest jump distance of the bipedal legs.

I considered using stun guns earlier after seeing them mentioned, but I find it interesting how strong they are, and the playstyle of this build looks really fun. How would you say this compares to your Bumblebee build? Although the shield on Bumblebee makes it resistant to stagger, it lacks the Earshots and seems slower. Additionally, how would you counter this build? Or do you think these stun gun builds are top tier to the point of overtaking the meta?

IMO the bumblebee should beat this build, because you can parry the earshots and because coral shield blocks electric buildup. But this build has the fun factor on its side. I mean it's 4200 damage of grenade launchers on nachtreiher legs... doesn't get more fun than that. Also tends to beat zimmerman builds in my experience.

I'm pretty sure I was in a lobby with you when you were running one of these builds. You were quite laggy, I saw you chunk half of someone's health without firing a shot on my spectator view. AC6 connections can be wild at times.

Would it be beneficial to stagger the timing of the shoulder weapons? because if you fire them at the same time, if you miss, you miss both of them and there is a long down time where you only have your hand weapon. But if you fire one, wait a while then fire the other, the opponent is under constant pressure. Though you may not have enough fuel to jump up high and fire that frequently.

This is *exactly* my kind of jank. Actually run something not unlike this in principle but it's double truenos instead since they shit on flying targets. I do really like this concept. Also I disagree on the reverse joints being bad for dodging. The kasuar jump goes **really** far so the little bit of drop back to the ground barely matters. My primary build uses them with 2x viento and 2x trueno and I've got 1v1 wins in the triple digits and probably only 20-30 losses. I've played against friends using it and it's so hard to even keep them on screen because of the length of the dodge, even with hard lock.

I think reverse joints dodge further on the ground vs. the air but it could just be a trick of the animation.

Do you got any advice for a melee build? I really love the idea of doubling up on melee weapons, but I'm just not sure what combo to use, and what weapons to pair with it. I feel like the lance is a bit too telegraphed, and the long charge up where you stand still is easy to get stunned out of so I was thinking maybe pulse blade + dagger? But no idea what to run on the right shoulder or hand as I keep flip flopping on if I want something more long range so I'm not hard locked into close range combat or if I should double down on close range and run something like ludlow or zimm

BASHO arms, they give the largest melee damage boost. KIKARU booster for the greatest melee boost, means you traverse more distance when using them to melee. For right arm weapons, get something you can charge during assault boost like a linear rifle or laser shotgun. You are basically always going to be assault boosting to land a kick and charged weapons keep their charge during AB. Whenever you connect a kick, connect with the charged weapon for guaranteed stun. Melee weapons are all viable, piledriver can 1 shot with a fully charged melee, regular laser sword has crazy strong direct hit damage against stunned enemies, as well as the double bladded twirly one, I forget its name. Honestly, I wouldn't go for the dagger, when you melee you want a weapon that will give you the most damage for the brief moment you have it. The plasma thrower is excellent on quads and tank legs because it doesn't lock you into place. Anyways that's just the gist of it, you can launch from there into whatever works for you.

I thought the electric proc functioned like bleed (deals a set amount of damage when bar fills) dose it also do a small stun on top of that? Never noticed that.

Yep. What's even better is that elec proc ministun is long enough that you can land the earshots during it. Which creates a real stun, which you can then use to elec proc them again!

@@Soloratsu I don't use missiles. I'm pretty sure my build isn't even that good, I just enjoy it. I usually play quad-leg with laser rifles, drone shoulder, and songbirds. I just prefer not to dog on builds.
