The holes didn't bother me as much as the engraving on the m1 button because the outline of the cat is exactly where my finger was clicking. It isn't hard to get used to and other options don't have this problem

I'm currently using the elgato facecam pro. I actually didn't notice the flickering until you mentioned it but the raw file doesn't have that issue. Think it might be because of the importing process, will look into it. Thanks for pointing that out!

I use fingertip. Relax claw is doable and the sensor would end up just below your thumb but you'll most likely cramp if you aggressive claw unless you got small hands

Its slightly grippier than the original BeastX if my memory serves me correctly but its still quite slippery compared to some scroll wheels with a rubberized texture

I'm positive the only thing that will be updated is the 8k support later on through a firmware but I'm not too sure if they'll change any of the physical specs

Thanks for the info! So the 20$ extra wasn't just for the dongle colour lol but the scroll wheel as well. I think the 8k isn't available right now. Mine and my mate's copy only shows up to 4k polling and there's a separate firmware update you can download but it won't recognize the mouse or the dongle being plugged in for some reason.

@@cebbax have you tried making sure the mouse and dongle are both plugged while running the program.

Yea, tried several times and different combinations as well. I've also just checked the WLmouse discord, right now it seems you can only get 1k on wired, 4k wireless and 8k is coming soon. I reckon that extra firmware update is for the 8k support

Where did you hear about the 8k in wired?! That's fantastic, I actually prefer wired since one can change out the sizable wireless battery for a smaller and lighter one!

Scroll wheel steps are more defined than the GPX but I got the aluminium one. The other colours have plastic scroll wheels from what I've heard so I can't say for those. Tbh scroll wheels don't see a lot of physical changes. Unless we're talking about optimum techs zero mouse where the scroll wheel is way taller than the mouse buttons, most mice should be fine.

Thanks for the kind words! You should 100% go for the medium size. I have 19.5cm and find my fingertips hanging off the edge when relax clawing so it'll definitely be too small for you

I haven't felt cramps or any pain with fingertip and relax claw though its too short when I claw it (19.5x10 cm). The medium is smaller and also mid hump like the superlight so its a good shout but that entirely depends on your shape preference. The beast x's slope at the back is steeper so its great if you want only partial palm contact whereas the superlight's more rounded slope and bigger size will fill your palm a little bit more

It is narrower than the viper mini and op1we. I got 52.3 mm at the narrowest section of the mouse but I was also using a measuring tape so give or take 0.5 mm just to be safe.

lol lowkey think I was just dumb not to instantly look for the films but definitely give the beast x mini a look. I can't find any problems with the quality at all and the shape makes it super hard to beat for fingertip

@j0eykarate264 They're both really good for fingertip. The viper mini is slightly wider and taller so depending on your hand size and where you grip it, you might make contact with the mid hump while gripping it.

The mini version has better stock skates and smaller cut outs. Depending on how your fingers are gripping the mouse, you might have to put buy grip tapes because the ones in the box aren't great. If you're willing to spend some extra on skates and tapes then its perfect. You can definitely run the medium as is but imo the beastx mini is a better overall deal for the same price.

Np-01s is the only ergo I'll use. It is a completely different shape tho

best overall mouse, most ideal for claw but fingertip is easily viable. I still use it very often

I went from the GPX to the Xtrafy M8. The M8 feels identical to the GPX, but is smaller with better scroll wheel, side buttons, and mouse clicks. There is no adjustment period between the GPX & Xtrafy M8. Also it has 3395 sensor with motion sync

What grip are you using? imo the mini is only viable for fingertip unless you got small hands especially when the shape has a mid hump that minimizes palm contact even more

@@cebbax I use fingertip grip. The reason I want to move away from G PRO is that I don't want my palm touch the hump.

It lasts as long as other mice on 4k. Only 2k is slightly worse than average where I'm charging every 2 days instead of 2.5 or 3 days

On the WLmouse official download page, there's 3 options. You need to download the driver update 2024.1.19 and you should be able to customize your mouse after you run it. Theres also the update V00.00.23.00 which might be for the 8k support but as far as I know, its not working for me.

You might want to consider the beast x max version instead of the mini. Its a size up from the o minus

Well my hand is small 17*9.5 cm max its too big i was thinking between hts plus or lamzu maya for fingertip i extend my fingers to the front of mouse which one you recommend?

@@i_Vex169 Tbh if its between those two, I'd wait a bit first for the atk f1 series thats releasing real soon. Its larger than the x2 mini you have right now, similar size to the maya

The beast X mini is built better, even batch 2 still has some flexing on the shell. You can get the cheapest beast X mini for 139 compared to 189 and you don't have to wait months for shipping. The main reason to get ulx imo is if you have or are starting a collection where the finalmouse brand is more impressive since it's limited

x2 mini is wider and has back hump. Technically you can pull off a claw on the x2 mini but fingertip is better for both mice

this is the opposite for me.. i use the ridges of the sides to set a specific grip position for my thumb. fingertip users should be comfortable with it, at least for me

I personally don't mind them but ye the slits are definitely polarizing. The grip tapes are the same as the original beast X, they're not good lol

I have a pretty aggressive claw grip and I dig my pinky nail into one of the slits which hurts like hell

@@TheSKJin You could try beefing up the sides with grip tapes. You can cover the slits and also widen the mouse a little so you don't get cramps from aggressive clawing, assuming those are the main issues you face
