My guy's style screams 'glow up' but their mental state says 'get therapy'.

it's just wow! Nyx has changed a lot since the first animation with him.

What I've learned and my theories from that Animatic: - Nyx's chest is work of God's (honka honk) - Performances are not one-time-thing - "Nyx's performances are a way to get to his targets" (lmao) - Nyx targets some people specifically - my guess is for sake information network, raising his influence and/or for higher ranking minions with specializations (like backing from most renowned lawyers etc.) - Performing minions are all in same outfits with masks - maybe for sake to hid their identities? (ya know like there's no situation like "heeey, isn't that one of guys that went missing like some time ago?") - There's someone "behind the scenes" - who is not brainwashed with weeds - that monitors everything and takes care of all effects and mechanisms - Nyx have control over many hypnotized people movement at the same time, which seems to be not verbal commands (at least not only) Thank you for coming to my TEDtalk.

A detail I didn't notice the first fifteen times I watched this, Nyx tailored the coat to fit him! I love this more and more each time I see it tbh

Do you ever think he has a moment or two when really tired when he has an existential crisis because of his abilities but just.. pushes it aside because it's Nyx?

The hit list at the end is likely of people who support or are connected to Lyner and Lenna. Their family is who Nyx wants revenge against, after all. So, they are probably associates that Lenna wants to keep around, but aren't too important, otherwise she would intervene herself. Since she sent her son, his boyfriend, and their friends instead that shows how she trusts they can find these people and save them. Also, at the end of 'Comatose' after the credits we see that someone is looking for Nyx. I did some digging and they are an old friend who Nyx either got or gave a bracelet to. This character is definitely going to be important later on.

Did anyone else notice how the guy working the lights and watching everything from the cameras didn't have swirly eyes like everyone does under the control of the smoke? Looks like the pretty boy actually has at least one willing follower?

So I WAS RIGHT-!! The blue Chrystal Nyx found in the cave acts, at least somewhat, like the gems that Lyner and his mother have! Still not much info on the creature that was inside that cave, though. Side comment, this is a great example of how someone who was abused can turn into what their abuser was. Nyx is manipulating and controlling his victims, just like Mr.Too-Many-Arms did. He lost his sense of control in captivity, so now he feels a need to control others. Another thing, I don't think the Nyx we see at the beginning of his origin story would be comfortable wearing a top with a boob window. His change of wardrobe probably also stems from his time as a prisoner/slave.

Omg the new art style. How dynamic this is. The expressions. Just the quality. Even though I was really in love with that scratchy rough cutesy fluffy cartoony artsyle you used to have this is just as good and love to see how much you've improved from then. Also oof this song fits just so much like when the lyrics it was a desert line came up I was like oh shit and then Nyx activated the gem and the animation just went 🌟 and I was like OH SHIT!!!

I love how you just have the power to turn a cool pop song into a villain song. Like, it happend twice already

Omg, it's Nyx again! And they are slaying it, dancing and singing in such a breathless way! And the clothes, man! Their long coat and long dress look amazing! And the moment when they emerged from the cave, wearing that stolen long coat that earlier didn't mask their weakness and fear, but now on this moment looked perfectly fitting for them when they unleashed the destruction and demolished their enemies? It was so badass and awesome! I loved the cave scene and the party scene! The music was amazing and Nyx's expressions were thrilling! The way Nyx moved in the room was so beautiful! The tragic situation with the manipulation was so sad yet so badass! Amazing animatic, I enjoyed this so much! 💜

Me as a person who watched Over The Moon two years ago: OMG! I KNOW THIS SONG! ※ EXPLANATION: This is a song from the Netflix children's musical Over The Moon, which was made by a Disney animator together with Netflix, so many people think that the movie is Disney because of the style. The original version is with female vocals(Philipa Soo) and the character she voices presents the modern look of Chang'e, the Chinese goddess of the Moon (otherwise the movie is set in modern China). Great animation. You are now my second favorite animator on KZfaq, I swear. And I never saw this as a good villain song. By the way, the character from the movie who sings this song is narcissistic, arrogant, anxious, depressed and cruel, the most arrogant, but the character was never supposed to be the villain of the movie.

That gem in his hand sure looks a lot like Lynner's... and that figure behind him that we get a better look at in Comatose also looks a lot like Lynner and Lenna, possibly a relative or even an ancestor? Every time I stumble back onto these videos, I get lost down the theory rabbit hole.

I really really want a chronological order setup and lore. I cry everytime and I know there is so much I don't understand bc I've never known the story, but I know it's deep.
