Neil! Regrettably, I largely gave up on your channel years ago. You seemed to drop off the map without a peep. I popped in a few times to check on you and found no trace. So, I chalked up those experiences to very enjoyable moments past... Even now, your early Class B reviews remain the finest of their type. To be fair, there are currently some delightful characters playing in your sandbox, but nobody brings calm clarity to the overwhelm of rv comparison the way you did. Wwll, here I am, and it looks like I missed your return... and a subsequent 8 month hiatus. Jeez! I can't win.*sigh* Regardless, every good thing to you and your family! Thanks so much for the intro to the van home platform. You put the class in Class Bs. 😉

So good to have you back! This review is timely for me, as we are going to pick up our new Class B RV (😉 and thanks to all of your great reviews) on Tuesday. We didn't opt for a TV, but my friends have recommended that we get a projector, so this is really worth considering.

Great to see you back Neil! Loved the review and your house is gorgeous! Your walls are beautiful so I totally agree that this projector is the way to go to showcase the beautiful architecture. Not to say it looked "bad" with the tv, but this setup just suits the space so much nicer. Our walls are white and boring so in our case, I think we need a tv to fill the wall. But maybe one day we'll be in a space with character!

@mikeerogers thanks! 🙏 sorry been under the weather. still amazed by the quality of this projector. the poor 80 tv sits in the store room awaiting its fate. if you have white walls then you have many surfaces to project onto!

Hi Neil. I've been watching your videos for a long time as I was thinking about buying a class B in 2020. Now ready to do it and just found a used 2018 Coachman Crossfit like the one you reviewed when it is new. Do you still think it would be a good option for a used RV under $75k? Seems very similar to the current Nova but on a dually Ford.

In case anyone else watches this in the future, be careful about screen selection with these multi-laser projectors. ALR screens can cause laser speckle when used with a laser projector. ALR screens tend to have metallic particles embedded into the screen, which can make laser speckle more noticeable. You can request screen material samples to test with before ordering.

Hi Neil, great review. Is there a way to mitigate the ghost image light wedge on the bottom of the screen left behind when using the digital keystone correction? I see it quite a bit during your 4K UHD Saturation Test around 5:19 in the video. Could your brightness possibly be maxed out here and could the contrast be adjusted not to see that light wedge on the bottom of the screen?

Hi - we own a PW OnTour 2.2, but have been intrigued by the Panaramic class B. Would you care to comment on the performance of the Promaster? We are considering a switch for our PW due to the layout of the Panaramic, front lounge and dedicated bed. I am 6 1” and will need to test the bed.

Impressive! Can you please mention the projector screen you own? Is it ALR or a regular one? Multiple sources tell me this projector does much better with ALR screens which I find puzzling, as they are meant for UST projectors.

hi there. this is a vanilla white screen. not alt or clr. i asked jmgo what they recommended and they said a basic white screen which is what i purchased.

@@Ultramobility this is interesting. Vividstorm claims their S Pro ALR fixes the speckle issue present on regular screens and even sell the screen combo with the projector. I bought the samples of many different screens and will test all of them. I don't trust anyone at this point.

Thank you for the video!! Do you notice any laser speckles? There are many articles about the laser speckles at the jmgo n1 ultra

not laser speckle per se. if i move my eyes quickly left to right and something bright like a candle is on screen occasionally i will see the red blue green lasers that are making up the white. but that’s rare and frankly could be my screen

i’m not sure what laser speckle is? i don’t notice anything other than what i mention above sometimes. i purchased a fairly inexpensive non-air, non-clr simple white screen. nothing special about it.
