Perché un bambino dovrebbe tifare il Pescara, anziché una delle grandi squadre abituate a vincere?
L'idea del video nasce con l'intento di dare una risposta a questa domanda, con un documento audiovisivo artigianale di pochi minuti che celebrasse la grandezza di una delle curve più ammirate e rispettate d'Italia, di una squadra che dalla piccola provincia è riuscita a far parlare di sè diverse volte, anche al di fuori dei confini nazionali, vuoi per le trasferte oceaniche della tifoseria che non saranno mai più eguagliate da nessun altra in Italia (i circa 35/40.000 agli spareggi di Bologna nel '77 e nel '79 rispettivamente contro Atalanta e Monza solo per citare le più roboanti), vuoi per il calcio spumeggiante che ha consegnato agli almanacchi epopee irripetibili - come quella della terribile banda di ragazzini sconosciuti guidata da un allenatore altrettanto sconosciuto, tale Giovanni Galeone, che nell'estate '86 radunatasi per disputare la C viene improvvisamente ripescata e 10 mesi più tardi vince il campionato catapultandosi in Serie A dopo aver ubriacato tutte le difese avversarie del campionato, oppure come quella di un altro gruppo di ragazzi semisconosciuti che guidati dal boemo Zdenek Zeman incanta l'Italia e l'Europa (finanche un certo Guardiola e The Guardian troveranno tempo e modo per tributargli i giusti onori) conquistando la Serie A a suon di goal, azioni travolgenti e avversari chiusi 90 minuti nella propria area.
E quando Pescara riconosce nella propria squadra il suo carattere guascone e spavaldo allora perde la testa e si esalta e non ce n'è più per nessuno... Esplode una follia che non ha eguali negli altri angoli d'Italia.
Ma tra i pochi momenti di gloria ce ne sono tanti di sofferenza e anonimato, quello attuale giusto per prenderne uno a caso, ma il tifoso malato di passione morbosa è sempre lì, non c'è categoria né classifica, non c'è società né condizione atmosferica che tenga... Non si può recidere il legame con la propria squadra, perchè questa esprime l'appartenenza a una città, una comunità, una cultura, un modo d'essere... LA PESCARESITÀ.
Ed è proprio per questo motivo che ho voluto fare questo video nel corso di un anno per noi pessimo, appena retrocessi in Serie C, dopo campionati inguardabili, in contestazione con la società, con prospettive tetre... Amare significa esserci sempre, crederci fino alla fine, gonfiare comunque il petto d'orgoglio!
Il video rende omaggio alla follia di cui sopra e ad alcuni grandi personaggi che hanno reso grande la Pescara ultrà e la Pescara Calcio (purtroppo non ho potuto citare tutti quelli che avrei voluto per esigenze tecniche), raccontando alcuni dei momenti magici e memorabili del Delfino e della sua tifoseria.
La colonna sonora del video è "Promentory", nella versione live dei Riserva Moac eseguita al Montelago Celtic Festival del 2018.
Rispetto per (quasi) tutti, paura di nessuno... PICCHÈ NU SEM NU, E QUAND PASSEM NU LA GENT DICË: "ESS QUISS, LI PISCARIS!".

Why should a kid support Pescara instead of one of the big teams that use to win?
The idea of ​​the video was born with the intention of giving an answer to this question, by an artisan footage lasting a few minutes that celebrates the greatness of one of the most admired and respected firms in Italy, of a team that from the small province was able to get talked about itself several times, even outside the national borders, either for the oceanic travels of the fans that will never be matched by any other in Italy, either for the amazing football that has recorded unrepeatable epics to the almanacs.
And when Pescara recognizes in his team his Gascon and bold character, then it loses its head and there is nothing left for anyone... A madness explodes that has no equal in other corners of Italy.
But among the few moments of glory there are many of suffering and anonymity, the current one just to take one at random, but the fan with morbid passion is always there, there's no category or ranking, management or atmospheric condition... You cannot sever the link with your team, because this expresses belonging to a city, a community, a culture, a way of being... THE PESCARESITY!
And it's precisely for this reason that I wanted to make this video in the course of a bad year for us, just relegated to Serie C, after disgusting championships, in dispute with the management, with gloomy prospects... Loving means to be always present, to stand for it 'till the end, stick the chest out!
The video pays homage to the aforementioned madness and to some great characters who made Pescara firm and Pescara Calcio great, recounting some of the magical and memorable moments of the Delfino and its fans.
