A little time spent with my 2017 Softail Slim S!
Apologies while I work through some audio issues - after re-filming the GoPro segment multiple times due to wind noise/audio fade, I called it a day on this project (though I think I found the solution!).

I'm torn between a new Street Bob and Softail Slim. I love the mini apes of the Street Bob and the large gas tank and floorboards of the Slim. This is a great compromise.

love this. we have similar tastes. I have a triumph street scrambler and one day hope to get a slim or street bob!

Really love the look of your slim S, just looks plain badass. You said they are the mini-apes, does that mean they're the standard Harley 9 inch mini-apes? You're right about the seating position too, loved that about my 2020 Heritage. Like the ride quality of my Road King better though. When I'm done paying that one off I've already decided I'll find a slim S much like yours as my back up bike. That Softail frame just looks so good.

recently started wanting to come to the dark side and get a Harley. been riding crotch rockets for the last couple years and i've developed an itch that seemingly can only be scratched by owning a Harley. been terribly torn between what i want and your bike looks like the one i want. nice bike :)

metal head definitely take the time to look and test ride. I have gone through a couple bikes now and sometimes it’s hard when you are torn between a few!

I believe those were 12”, they worked great for me, I ended up selling the bike with them on.

Cesar I’m 5’8” and the reach was pretty short for me, sounds like you would be totally fine!

It came with the bike, I believe the original owner had all Harley accessories on it, so I think it’s an HD sissy bar :)

Learn to ride with out using you clutch, only when you take off, after that you dont have to, RPM, is the key, Good luck I have the Slim S 2016,

@@Ultravonder Save you clutch,Faster,Easier,Just saying sorry if a offend you wasn't trying to do that, but is a lot easier to ride like that and drive to.

@@eddynelson9440 Don't worry, I'm not offended! I guess I choose to use my clutch to save my transmissions. I have shifted with no clutch and understand how it's done, I just choose to use it I guess :)

The Slim S id bad ass, I rode from Orlando Florida to Allentown PA in one day 20 Hours, 2 days later I rode to Sturgis, and back, Good choice Ride safe@@Ultravonder
