However, while Ultron believes he can make quick work of the Watcher's recruits, Strange Supreme places a protection spell on everyone, granting them immunity to his attacks. Seizing the opportunity, T'Challa steals the Soul Stone right from under Ultron's nose. 1:22 The “All too easy” line is actually a reference to what Darth Vader said when he believed to have defeated Luke on Bespin. The scene actually mirrors it in a way, with the heroes falling into a pit of sorts and believing to have been beaten.

I think they needed him to travel in order to destroy all the stones at once (even if it were to fail), plus he would have destroyed that universe at the very least without the Space Stone.

Strange hits Ultron with a 1,000 Mjolnir's and an entire planets worth of zombies, followed up by an insane zombie Scarlet Witch... Talk about a distraction. Plus, this version of Strange eats a Supernova, literally, to stop Ultron from simply blowing up a Solar System to just kill them all at once.

Because for one thing the power of one stone can kill an ordinary person Secondly the temptation of what can be done with that power after, especially what Killmonger tried to do after Even if all had Infinity Gauntlets, Ultron will still have the advantage, as he can use full power without being killed or hurt by it, and wouldn’t hold back with mortality what to do with that power
