I RECENTLY DID TIMING C& G R&R ,GOT TBE 4.0 BACK TOGETHER, SOUNDED WORSE THAN BEFORE I STARTED!! PULLED DRIVERS SIDE VC I COULD REMOVE A FEW ROLLER FOLLOWERS BY HAND. THIS WAS MY FIRSTTIME DOING THIS JOB. IM THINKING THAT I COULDVE RELEASED VALVE KEEPERS,NOT KNOWING TO PAY ATTENTION. I DUNNO?? DID A 5.4 3V TRITON,FIRED UP,SOUNDED AND RUNS LIKE A SCALDED DOG!!

I'm thinking the valve got bent when the rocker jumped.

Very possible. I would like to know how the roller jumped though.
