Last year in 65° weather. I tested my Umarex G19. I fired 212 shots until it was unshootable (with no CO2). The BBs only started bouncing off my cardboard target with the last mag or two. It still regularly gets around that same number of shots per CO2 capsule. This airgun is the steal of the century. One other thing I think worth mentioning is its weight. Umarex added a metal weight right over the rail inside the frame to make it the same weight as the G19 firearm. In addition, internal parts are mostly metal to bring up the weight, too. Lastly, the frame of the gun feels like a quality plastic that would be used in the real version, and the slide is metal, too. Thanks for a great review!

@@AirgunDetectivessame here Amazon even wouldn't accept my return they rejected it and I wasted $65 on this model for the same thing that happened with the magazine it has a hard time reloading to the point where it jams up before I could even fire the weapon because of the fact that it stay in the gun itself the magazine tends to fall out or not clipped in all the way and it becomes useless and I'm wasting pellets this really sucks I would just works perfectly at first but then after using the spring clip to reload it doesn't work I wish I could find a nice stable pistol to be able to fire the right way

@AirgunDetectives
@AirgunDetectives 3 жыл бұрын
@@7991128 you can leave the Co2 in the gun for a few days with no issues whatsoever. The reason you don't leave Co2 cartridges in for an extended period of time is it compresses the seal. You are good to go👍
@CaptZdq1
@CaptZdq1 3 жыл бұрын
@@AirgunDetectives You can leave it in indefinitely. It doesn't damage the seal. I've had guns with the CO2 in it for years and they still fired properly.
@loc4725

@@CaptZdq1 No, on most modern CO2 guns if left for too long it leaves an imprint on the seal and makes it go hard (ask how I know!). A though soaking in Comma power steering fluid & conditioner seems to fix it although the seal is very soft afterwards.

I just ordered one because although I like shooting my G19, the price of ammo today is insane! Apparently, these BB guns are weighted to feel the same as actual G19s/G23s/G32s. Heck, you can buy 40 CO2's & 4k BB's for the price of 1 box of 9mm anymore.
@JS-ed2hg

Wish it had Blowback at least but I totally agree. Although you're not necessarily dealing with the recoil of a real firearm BB/Pellet and Airsoft pistols and rifles are not only cheaper to shoot but also great training AIDS especially since you can go in your backyard versus going to a range. Yes some blowbacks do have little felt recoil nothing like a real firearm, of course ballistics are totally different. But still things like this are a very useful tool to work on your stance/hold, sight picture ect and are great beginners for youths to teach firearm safety. I have owned many air guns like the fully IWI licensed Uzi CO2 airsoft gun which came with a really nice case I wish I didn't sell it, a Walther CP88 pellet gun very nice weight and nickel finish all the way to a full metal WE TECH M4 CQBR which was surprisingly realistic in more ways than one. Not going to name them all but I just picked up the crosman R1 I have to say definitely check those out, you can use one or two CO2 in the magazine, Safe/Semi and Full auto at 1400 rounds per minute. But years ago I owned a .43 caliber magazine fed M4 paintball gun Way more realistic than anything Tippmann makes, it wasn't from RAP4 but it was mainly used for law enforcement training and millsem exercises. Just thought I would elaborate, great comment totally agree!

Those co2 air pistols with the barrel functioning as the hammer seem to usually be higher velocity than other hammer designs. the colt defender, crosman C21 and Daisy powerline 415 are three other examples that shoot very hard and have the same barrel/hammer design.
@joefisher7792
@joefisher7792 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah but the hammer coming back I mean the barrel coming back as the hammer okay don't always come back in the same direction and therefore don't really shoot consistent I mean this to me it's no fun if you can't hit anything
@loc4725
@loc4725 2 жыл бұрын
The higher velocity is usually because of how the blowback mechanism works, i.e. more gas is available and for longer.
@EdwinHendraKusuma
@EdwinHendraKusuma 4 жыл бұрын
I agree with the 4 stars you gave. Personally, I'd give 4½ stars if only it had a full-size mag instead of a stick one. And I'd give 5 star if they also made the slide moveable like in Baikal Makarov to add a little bit more sense of realism in it, even if it doesn't give any blowback when you shoot it. I don't care much about blowback effect in an air pistol, as it would definitely reduce the power. However, a moveable slide without the blowback effect would be nice.

I have one… it no longer holds co2 pressure but it was a decent non blowback pistol while it lasted. Maybe you could make us a video explaining how to replace those co2 seals… and where to get them because every single co2 gun I ever had has stopped holding air within 3-5 months and I take care of all my things… oil on co2 , don’t leave them installed…. My 19 was nice though shot straight and hit kinda hard for a co2 every once in awhile though it would load the bb and just roll down the barrel before I actually break the trigger and yea it’s not a light trigger the weight of the pull is close to a real 19 but does not feel anything like the real 19 trigger still better than my SA XDM that thing lasted me all of 6 magazines and it shot like a foot low when it did work but I bought a refurbished one from AGD and that’s what I get for trying to save a buck and they offered to replace it which I appreciate but I’m not even interested in paying $20 to ship a $70 gun just to get the replacement and it’s the same…. One day I’ll just have to try another magazine in it because it is a cool gun I shot my buddy’s XDM and I just liked the feel in hand way better than a Glock but for my hands nothing feels better than a good quality 1911 maybe a beretta 92 is a close second if we’re talking full size service pistols🤷‍♂️

1:43 I'm not a fan of this system for CO2 puncturing, fiddling around with hex keys takes too long in my opinion, and on this pistol you also have to remove the magazine first to gain access to the hex key hole. Instead, they should use a fast cantilever system like the Sig Sauer P226.

Seems like a veryy good non-blowback BB pistol.😊👍 Personally, not a fan of nbb BB pistols - nor Glocks either. Bought the Umarex H&K nbb USP years before this G19 came out on the market, and therefore skipped the nbb G19. I would probably recommend this G19 over the USP because of the G19's inclusive hex key and the buttplate that hides the co2 cartridge screw. The nbb USP do have a full sized magazine and shoots very good (and even up to 170 shots) - but the G19 being a newer product, it has it's benefits when talking innovations and latest materials within airgunning..

Being a double action semi automatic w/ no blowback ... will ALL trigger pulls be double action long , in that case? And upon further reading your response to another person's comment... you mentioned that a pellet version of this will soon come out... Do you have any idea approximately when ... and if this will also be non blowback and a semi automatic double action ? Pretty much sold on this one, ut if not sooo long to wait for the pellet version , I might wait it out till then and see the review for the new one that shoots pellets. Thanks in advance for any clarification 😊👍🏻...

My Glock 19 doesn’t have the FPS on the hottest day in Georgia, neither have I ever seen any other videos with speed that fast from this air pistol….There’s something definitely wrong with that Crono,they barely get 350 on a good warm day 🤔

Hey guys ! Great vid I can hear a gas leak on mine and wonder how to fix it Could you help me out with this please ?
@AirgunDetectives
@AirgunDetectives 3 жыл бұрын
Not worth repairing, parts are difficult to come by. However, it may be leaking by the o-ring that seals the Co2. Make sure you use some silicone oil on that Co2 or even Pelgun oil each time you install a new Co2. Just a small drop spread on the surface.

I use a real Glock 17 at work, and I just bought this one for holster drills. It’s a bit smaller than what I’m used to, but it is useful for practice. Maybe one day I will buy some bbs and CO2 cartridges, lol.

Compare this one and the Umarex Clot 1911 A1 which one do u think is better (i know u are 1911 fans, buts disable this factor 😁) and which gen is this glock 19 u are testing in this video? By the way, many people record only 300 something fps...not sure why your one so high in fps
@AirgunDetectives
@AirgunDetectives 2 жыл бұрын
The Glock non-blowback version should be well above 400 fps. If not you have a faulty gun.. You can't really compare those two guns. Completely different dynamics. Blowback vs non-blowback. I like them both! Add both to your collection and you won't be sorry 👍

Hi - I bought the Glock 19 and my BBs are getting jammed in the chamber. CO2 fires but BB gets stuck. Do you know why? When I open clip the BB falls out.

Det why does the air cartridge leaks every time I place a cartridge in the mag (Crosman A4P bb air pistol)?
@AirgunDetectives
@AirgunDetectives Жыл бұрын
Make sure you use a drop of pelgun or silicone oil on the tip of every Co2 cartridge before you install it. Also, when you are screwing in the piercing screw, go at a rather fast or rapid pace. See if that helps. 😉👍🏻

It would enter the muscle i think if u use metal bbs. 500 fps with a metal projectile is enough to go through clothing.

Would the Crossman Copperhead BBs shoot slower than the silver zinc BBs?
@AirgunDetectives
@AirgunDetectives 4 жыл бұрын
Actually they are 5.1 grains as well. They have a similar velocity. I don't like the copper because they rust if they land in my pool. The zinc are much cleaner in the gun as well. 😉👍
