Here's hoping Black Dahlia has at least an above average kit when she releases. A real shame Umbrella released with such a mid kit, which resulted in most of her variants being underwhelming. I've only invested in my Candy Crusher so far, since I quite like her sustainability and frequent blockbuster usage.

It really is a shame with how the variants ended up being. They're just so underwhelming compared to the other previous fighters that have been revealed. Hell Annie's silver variants are just way more interesting to play around with and sometimes even way more viable. A shame really, hopefully they might buff them?

I honestly think Tidal Traveller could be abit better if her Immunity wasn't so restricted, as having to stay near a puddle to both gain and keep the immunity is pretty inefficient considering how easy it is to lose/be moved away from a puddle. If she gains a buff in future, I do hope that her first SA does something akin to either: A - Gain IMMUNITY for 10/12/15 seconds when spawning a puddle. (Potentially allows for on demand Immunity) B - Gain IMMUNITY and remove 1 DEBUFF from self every 3/2/1 second(s) while near a puddle. IMMUNITY is removed when knocked down. (Sticks with current proc, but adds self debuff removal. Immunity will not be removed when leaving a puddle)

It’s obvious that they wanted her to be this spammy, stally, high skill cap trap character always throwing bubbles, managing hunger, and getting huge kills off of playing correctly. But honestly? It just kind of ends up feeling like a waiting game trying to play around puddles and waiting for opponents to come near you and then spamming your combo extenders cause if you don’t then all your set up is for nothing and if you don’t get a kill off your huge combo she just sits there in ravenous and does nothing (which is ironic considering ravenous is her best form in the neutral). Also a character I notice gets absolutely rekt by tagouts. Most useful umbrella is totally Rose-Tinted. Silver tier 20 second debuff clear is nuts - definitely best value.

As much as I am an Umbrella fan, I have to agree that some, if not most, of her variants are kinda average. I am praying that Wish- I mean - [REDACTED] has a good SA that makes her worth it. Oh, also, on the topic of Umbrella SA, I made one for her Princess Peach palette: Character: Umbrella Variant Name: Toadstool Variant Inspiration: Princess Peach (Umbrella) and her parasol (Hungern) (Super Mario series) Rarity: Gold Element: Neutral Caption: "I am so over this damsel in distress nonsense!" Signature Ability: Vibe Check Gain Barrier, Miasma, and Enrage every 5 seconds while Overstuffed, Satiated, and Ravenous respectively. These buffs are removed when knocked down. Throws inflict Fatigue for 5 seconds, heal teammates by 10% of their max health, and grant Immunity for 15 seconds while benefiting from Barrier, Miasma, and Enrage respectively. My thoughts behind the SA are a compilation of all of Peach's powers from games she featured in: The buff gain based on her Vibe Powers from Super Princess Peach, the Fatigue from her Ultimate in SSB, and the team healing and Immunity from her role as a support in Mario RPG. I always thought that Umbrella's launch felt rushed as hell, starting with how we didn't even get the whole set of trailers of the variants. And in that sense a lot of her SAs also feel like watered down versions of other variants existing SAs. Model leader, Summer Salt, Freeze Frame, Djinn Frizz. Which is kinda sad because her gameplay is actually fun and could have lead to interesting things but instead we got a lot of meh variants. And I feel as if in general, the devs are running out of ideas, too. Number Cruncher and Fan Favorite don't have amazing SAs either

Can we have a petition to have umbrella’s variants buffed because her variants are so horrible. Slime is also ineffective with variants that are non-reliable on buffs and slime is useless if curse is on. P.S Slot’s of lag’s modifiers are very tricky but we can still reach jackpot with certain variants.

I’m being honest yeah Umbrella’s variants are so meh. Rose Tinted is good and annoying to fight when against a full fledged team, Umb herself has amazing combos, but her variants are just a bubble shield when going in a full on army. Except Space Chase who is cool
