There are many ideas how to mount LiPo battery on a mini quad. You can use some sponge, adhesive, nano technology, velcro, strap and so on. Like last week I've noticed ummagawd bragging about some kind of sticky thingy that allows to fly without a battery strap. Fly? Sure. Crash? Probably not.
This is my favourite way to secure a LiPo on top (or on bottom) of a kwad: 3M Dual Lock (SJ3550, SJ3551 and SJ3552) reclosable fasteners. They come in 3 versions: with 175, 250 and 400 stems per square inch. And they work on almost every surface. Want to attach anything to something? Dual Lock is the answer.
Ah, you still need a battery strap but only during crashed. But that is a different story.

When buying, go for 250 or 400 version since they are stronger. And no, 1m is not enough. I usually use even up to 2 meters per year.
