My mom was an non-believer, she died in that state. I can't ask her for Jannah nor for her's hassana in Aakhira. But your moms r not a non-believer, do your obligatory prayers and do good things ask Allah(swt) for her Hassana here n in the Aakhira. Don't waste your time by fighting her, abusing her, neglecting her....love her, don't take her for granted, spend time with her n do alots of Du'as for her ❤

Please don't say such things. Music is not haram. Music has benefits. Don't blindly listen to the salafi scholars . They only think music is only used in rap,pop etc. They only can think about movie music. What about a child who is learning alphabets and rhymes. There is music there. And if there is no music how would child can learn rhymes because children needs some type of entertainment. And also people should know that baby will soon fell asleep after hearing music. Music increases sleep capacity, music helps to balance blood pressure and also certain disorder such as anxiety, phonophobia can be cured by music. Yes music can be quite distracting. But the rock music which shows messages swearing, alcohol and meanings against Islam are haram and should be avoided. But children while learning needs some type of music

vocals that mimic the way musical instruments sound, like beatboxing imitating drums and vocalisations imitating the flute. Can one really tell the difference between beatboxing and a real drum. They are very similar. Thus they both fall under the category of haram because they both sound the same and just because one is from the mouth doesnt make it halal Islamqa the website has a good answer to this issue.

SubhanAllah.. May Allah SWT bless all the parents and specifically mothers with health and loads of rewards and blessings. May Allah SWT bless all departed mother's souls highest ranks in Jannat ul Firdous including my Amma too. Ameen SummaAmeen.5th of Ramadan will complete one whole year when she returned back to Allah SWT. This nasheed made me recall the beautiful memories of hers.
