Fun fact: that was actually the initial idea to get the FF in the game to have them be an all in one character (probably playing as Reed tho since he’s the leader), but Marvel declined the idea and when Human Torch had to be cut because he ate up too much ram, they cut Mr Fantastic too and Marvel suggested they use Super Skrull to make up for the loss of FF members

@@NMPziirr if I’m not mistaken Super Skrull was originally going to be Johnny but they couldn’t get the model to work right So that’s exciting I’m very curious to see how Sue is going to be like when someone will inevitably get to her

@@kruegerpoolthe13th I think I remember hearing about that too in the early stages of the game torch was a possibility. And yea I believe all fantastic 4 characters are gonna be modded in. Plus probably more street fighter characters and some is already making talbain from the dark stalkers series. Which I’m hyped for cause I never played a dark stalkers game.

If the modding community puts in Human Torch and doesn’t given him a taunt that’s just the entirety of his Flame On rap from the F4 cartoon then it’s all a wasted effort

Holy cow Shocker is my favourite Spidey villain and I'm interested to see how they do Sandman (Since before custom animations I'm guessing they are gonna do like re-used Venom stuff but now that custom animations are thing...wow) but from recent news I've seen on youtube, this is the first time I heard news of those two in the works. Bro first of all excellent comment. I usually get comments saying how broken these characters are and yet nobody seems to realize high damage equals low mobility/ no air movement/ slow. So I haven’t tested everything yet. But he can’t wave dash he can only jump cancel his dash. Which means once you dash you are locked into the full dash or you have to jump out of it. (You can’t press an attack button to cancel the dash early either). I predict the best way to move in with him is by dash, jump, M rock roll. You can use heavy also but its arch I believe makes it easier for the opponent to react to it. (Heavy Might work as a cross up at close range tho. Air light rock roll doesn’t really move you anywhere still might hit at close range tho) He might also catch people off guard with crouching heavy as it travels a long distance but very slow so yea most likely you gonna get punished. As for air movement you can use rock throw but it doesn’t really move you anywhere it’s mostly just to chuck shit at your opponent to try to move in. I think the best way to use it is to tiger knee it from the ground so you can land and do a light rock roll to move forward but have to test that. And if you jump/super jump you have the knee drop to come down right away and then otg with tiger knee rock throw. But I mean once you get the hit it’s an easy 900k. But I’m like 95% sure his damage is gonna get nerfed.

@@NMPziirr If he doesn't have an invincible move or armored move you might as well give Ben his damage, because it sounds like it's the only real upside of picking the guy for a semi-serious game. Also, how are his assists? Usually you can tell a lot from a character's function and role in UMVC 3 from their assists.

@@Eckskalibur no idea haven’t used any of his assist. I basically spend a couple hours yesterday making that video and I haven’t been able to play since. I might get a chance to play later today tho.

The thing is his own character so far and you need to have community edition to play him. You can download community edition at the UMVC EX discord and then you can find the link to the thing there too and add it to the roster. The files you download for the mod and character have instructions there or you can also ask at the discord
