Amazing how people only look at the Mag loop and say Fanatiq sucks. Look at his movement, setups, strategies, defense and use of XF. There is more to the game than just combos. His storm is just as good as his Mag.

The problem with Jill and Shuma are that most people are biased against the DLC characters. They should theoretically be good because a lot of people will have never faced them, but when they win from that it feels really cheap (Shuma I feel only succeeds because of this right now). But I agree, Jill does feel like a hidden top tier character.

Frank West isn't Chuck Green. He isn't looking for his daughter, he's just a reporter looking for a story. Chuck was the character, in Dead Rising 2, who was trying to save his daughter, BTW he isn't looking for his daughter but actually a cure because she's in the security office throughout the game. You have to give her Zombrex or she'll turn into the zombie, just like Frank.

That's why you've got to work on your defense. This game is easier to pick up for most people, so that's why long and complicated combos that can "100%" are basically accessible for most of the roster.

Storm did most of the work in the majority of the matches he had; and not limited to the money match he had with RayRay. I implore you to watch those (and other) matches if you haven't already.

On the contrary. If he got that far by using the tactics he used in this video, then bad players do indeed make it to the finals. This video is a good example of how some players play because it is fun (Justin Wong), and some play it to win (Fanatiq). I will not say one way is wrong, but you can the difference in play styles. Funny thing is if any of you had a match against him online, you would complain about his repetition and call him a n00b. Because he won a contest, he is a hero.

Justin wong didn't even use frank west, he used Frank Whack and still made a come back.

Wolverine has no answer to projectiles, and he's S tier (with the right assist). That's why Justin uses Wolv/Akuma. Akuma eats projectiles so Wolverine can move in safer. X-23 is just as good as Wolverine, although harder to use, with a good assist.

Now provided, if he still has X-factor with Sentinel, things might still be okay for Mr. I have a MvC2 team that works in UMvC3 because Sentinel with X-factor level 3 like most of the cast(but especially characters like him, Hulk, Nemesis, Wesker, and Vergil), if you get touched by him, you are dead.

No matter how you put it, it all comes down to what people prefer. If someone wants to use an SNES controller to play marvel, that's their choice. If that's what they prefer who are you to tell them it's wrong? It's like the people who play on an arcade stick with their right hand moving the stick and their left hand pushing the buttons. More characters? There were like... 9-11 viable characters in MvC2, Mag, Storm, Psy, Sent, CapCom, Cyclops, Cable, and if you were Clockw0rk, Strider and Doom. In Marvel 3, you can play anyone and be dominant. In Marvel 2 it was pick top tier or get destroyed.
